The headline of the text this Sunday could be "Ship Wrecked; Lives Saved!" In this section of scipture, the storm-wrecked ship carrying Paul and the others comes to the island of Malta. It was an unlikely miracle that the ship, driven blind in the storm, should come to this place â but under Godâs guiding it did.
Despite the grounding and break-up of the ship on the shores of Malta, all escaped and came to land safely. Once on land, Paul suffered a snakebite from a notoriously poisonous viper â yet suffered no harm.
