Panasonic have announced two plasma 3D televisions for the UK market, the 50-inch TX-P50VT20E and 65-inch TX-P65VT20E. Both televisions will use the active shutter glasses which means full high definition 3D. Two pairs of glasses will be included with each television set but each additional pair will cost £100. The televisions themselves will cost £2,000 for the 50-inch and £4,000 for the 65-inch. The 50-inch model is due to arrive in the UK in May, and the 65-inch in July. Additional features include Infinite Black Pro with Native Contrast Over five million to one, 600 hertz Sub-field Drive Intelligent Frame Creation Pro, THX Certified Display, 24p Smooth Film, Freeview HD, Freesat HD, VIERA CAST, DLNA certified and USB Terminals for Wireless LAN Adaptor, Keyboard and HDD Recording.
