It is not surprising that many home and apartment dwellers feel little inclination to have their carpets professionally cleaned. Although daily cleaning with a vacuum cleaner is highly recommended, vacuum cleaner manufacturers would have the consumer believe that their machines make industrial carpet cleaning unnecessary. Some folks have their carpets deep cleaned either just before moving into a new residence, or just before they leave; as part of the rental agreement, or as a tactic to recover as much rental deposit as possible. Although these are good reasons to invest in a thorough carpet cleaning, unless you live in your home for 6 months or less, it may not be enough. If keeping your family healthy, or helping your home retain a higher resale value is important to you, then there is little reason for not keeping your carpets as pristine as modern technology will allow.
