On this particular day in May of 2005 when I was driving my brother-in-law Javier Sanchez Slanderson around West Michigan, their daughter Smeegan Meegan stayed home "sick" and watched Little House on the Prairie while I grabbed a bite to eat. Javier was at work for a few hours and I had a break.
