Invading Rockland is a serial drama about the small, postcard-perfect harbor town of Rockland, Maine, and the dark, rousing secrets that the quirky residents desperately try to keep hidden. The central character is Jason Walker, a 26-year old independent photographer with a keen spying eye who decides to move back to his hometown for good, but must settle once again in the lovely and familiar confines of his parent’s house. His actions are the catalyst for the story when he begins creating fake UFO sightings in a valiant, yet somewhat idiotic attempt to bring the town of Rockland out of its financial woes. Outsiders including UFO enthusiasts, tourists, the national news, the FBI, and other peculiar and puzzling characters find themselves flocking to the small town in hopes of finding the answers behind the mysterious lights seen all over the Rockland area.
