Canal Alliance held our annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner this past April 20th to celebrate the participation of more than 400 volunteers. The evening was highlighted by delicious food and drink catered by the Mujeres del Canal Cooperative as well as fantastic prizes donated by area businesses for attendees. “We could not do the work we do if it wasn’t for the help of volunteers” Doug Campillo – Canal Alliance staff. The comprehensive number of hours that volunteers donate to our organization has a monetary value to more than $264,000 annually!
