scetch of a documentary - in production process Portrait of four participants of music project "Polyphonie" which will be part of RUHR.2010 cultural capital. The project is about bringing together people over 50 years of age, who have immigrated into the Ruhr Region. They all share their love for music, enabling them to communicate with each other although of different cultural backgrounds. The documentary shows four of them on their way through the coaching workshops, revealing their cultural backgrounds and telling the story of their lives. Which eventually leads to the grand finale, the final show with the chamber orchestra of the "Duisburger Philharmoniker"
