The producer of the "Quit Smoking Public Service Announcement" put out a call for anyone who could be an extra for the Saturday morning filming, so I said I would help out. The PSA was one in a series of PSA's targeted towards various sectors of the LGBT community. This particular segment was targeted to the HIV+ community and depicted a stop smoking group facilitated by a man who was HIV+. The actor playing that role did a wonderful job empathizing with and motivating the group he was overseeing. I played a member of that group. It was a pleasant shoot and I got to meet several interesting actors and got to practice my non-verbal acting skills. Due to logistical issues, the actual PSA has not yet been publicly released, so a placeholder frame has been included here.
