Italy travel: Rome, inside St. Peter's Church, gazing upon Michaelangelo's Pieta, one of the masterpieces created when he was young. This statue is basically life sized, as opposed to most of the other super sized monuments our Perillo Tours Familia has been exposed to on this trip. Maybe it was that simple contrast that made this statue so special.
