The raven came to see me she put a pebble in my mouth
she told me that my heart was full of doubt.
I felt the cold embraces of her dead love,
as autumn leaves fell she became a dove.
Her feathers were like rays of sunshine
that melted death away, but deep inside she was still a raven.
The raven took my fears and flew into the night
and the pebble that she left me became the rock that saved my life.
