Fans of the flamboyant strutted their stuff in Key West Tuesday night during the Headdress Ball, a highlight of the annual Fantasy Fest masking and costuming festival.
The outrageous 10-day festival, themed "Habitat for Insanity," continues through Halloween with more than 40 individual events.
Tuesday night's Headdress Ball drew entrants in huge and elaborate masks, cowls and other headgear -- many decorated with feathers, sequins and unexpected accessories -- to vie for cash prizes.
