There have been numerous serious accusations of prison abuse, with rules violated under direct instructions of sheriffs. The report introduces you to two sheriffs, both with a record of severe prison abuse cases. The sheriff of Bristol County, Massachusetts is noted for a high suicide rate in his prison. In Iberia Parish, Sheriff Louis Ackal is getting investigated by the Civil Rights Division of the FBI. L. Clayton Burgess, a reputable police abuse attorney, was recently interviewed for American Sheriff, an episode in the YouTube series Fault Lines.
Originally published in 1657, “The Seventh-Day Sabbath Sought Out And Celebrated” has been out of print for more than 350 years. Wilderness Publications has reprinted this important historical work for the benefit of all Christians. Thomas Tillam was a prominent preacher at Hexham, north of London. His vigorous exhortations, usually based on graphic adaptations of Revelation, brought scores of people to baptism by immersion. By 1655 Tillam had moved to Colchester. About a year later, Tillam began holding services in the parish church on Saturdays. He closed it on Sundays, and urged people to carry on with their business as usual. This brought him into conflict with the authorities, who put him into Colchester Castle Prison. Whilst he was in prison, Tillam wrote this book in answer to a pamphlet by William Aspinwall, a leading Fifth Monarchist. Of great historical significance is the fact that Tillam was one of the first authors to identify the Mark of the Beast as being its change of the Seventh-day Sabbath to Sunday. Using graphic and eloquent language throughout this treatise, pointing his readers back at times to the original Hebrew and Greek languages, Thomas Tillam explains that the final great controversy in these very last days will be between the Saints and the Man of Sin over the Seventh-day Sabbath. The Uffington White Horse is a highly stylized prehistoric hill figure, 110 m long (374 feet), formed from deep trenches filled with crushed white chalk. The figure is situated on the upper slopes of White Horse Hill in the English civil parish of Uffington (in the county of Oxfordshire, historically Berkshire), some 8 km (5 mi) south of the town of Faringdon and a similar distance west of the town of Wantage; or 2.5 km south of Uffington. The hill forms a part of the scarp of the Berkshire Downs and overlooks the Vale of White Horse to the north. Best views of the figure are obtained from the air, or from directly across the Vale, particularly around the villages of Great Coxwell, Longcot and Fernham. The site is owned and managed by the National Trust and is a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

There was no doubt about it: Brendaâs parrot Polly was Vulgar with a capital V.
He had a mouth like a truck driver and was forever embarrassing her in front of friends and family.
She had adopted him 3 months earlier.
Brenda never used bad language, but imagined that Polly learned to swear from his previous owner.
One day, while she was entertaining the parish priest, Polly began to swear.
She was beside herself with embarrassment.
When the priest left she threatened to take the bird back to the shelter, but in reality she didnât have the heart.
Instead, she picked Polly up and said âListen up! You had better stop cursing, or else!â
But after a few minutes Polly began to utter profanities that would have made a sailor blush.
Later that week, Brenda had her mother-in-law over for lunch.
And of course Polly was his old foul-mouthed self.
Brenda was totally humiliated.
When her mother-in-law had gone, Brenda threatened to feed Polly to their cat.
But Polly was unimpressed and started to launch terrible ...

This week, I went with Amanda back to her home town in Michigan, near Ann Arbor. The first night I met up with youtube Becca aka LisaSimpson.
First we stayed at Amanda's mom's place in her sisters old room. Then we had an amazing Thanksgiving dinner at her dad and eventually ended up staying at a Bed and Breakfast called 'The Parish House'.
We wrapped things up with her sisters wedding, which I ended up live streaming.
