It's Airshow Week At Aero-TV!
The Second in a five part series this week is also the other half of a forthright conversation with International Council of AirShows President, John Cudahy, --- which will be followed by a series of short interviews, in three parts, in which members of the airshow community answered the same three questions -- concerning safety, value and the ability of the airshow industry to keep up with the times.
Produced at the ICAS Convention just before the end of the year, we were pleased to be able to tackle such important subjects as the industry made ready to start another year... but we apologize for some of the lighting, as we were stuck with some bad conditions and had to make the best of it.
ICAS tells us that Airshows draw large numbers of demographically attractive spectators - a well-educated, affluent group of men, women and children of all ages. More than 70 percent of the audience at an air show has had some college education. Three quarters report household ...

The Bratz girls—Yasmin (Nathalia Ramos), Jade (Janel Parrish), Cloe (Skyler Shaye) and Sasha (Logan Browning) - have been best friends forever and even made a pinky promise to always stick together. But when they become students at Carry Nation High School, they find that social cliques -- and the domineering school president, Meredith -- are determined to tear them apart! Even though they love following their own dreams, the girls really miss each other. Before long, they realize they can pursue their own passions and be friends, so they set out to end peer pressure forever. Through song, dance, and, of course, fashion, they teach the whole school the true meaning of empowerment, honesty, and most importantly, friendship.
People from countries all across the globe celebrated Guinness World Records Day on November 8th. After two years of successful celebrations, the world’s biggest international event was back bigger and better than ever with record-breaking feats scheduled in countries all around the world. By the day’s end, more participants made their bids to enter into the world’s best-selling copyright book and the chance at Guinness World Record stardom than ever before.
The U.S. once again took center stage in record-breaking action with a full slate of unbelievable feats. The Tallest Man in the United States was revealed – an astounding 7 feet 8 inches! As if that wasn’t big enough, for the second year in a row, the World Sport Stacking Association (WSSA) led more than 130,000 people in local schools, community centers, parks and senior citizens homes to STACK UP! and break the record for Most People Sport Stacking In One Day.
Produced for Guinness World Records
Features:
Koji Kanemoto vs. Yuji Yasuraoka - Kanemoto apparently hates Yasuraoka with the heat of a thousand exploding suns, but the young representative of WAR refuses to back down.
Jyushin "Thunder" Liger vs. Masakazu Fukuda - This would sadly be Fukuda's first and last BOSJ appearance before passing away only a few years later. Don't skip this just because he doesn't have the name recognition of an Ohtani or Kanemoto, because he takes Liger to the absolute limit.
Shinjiro Ohtani vs. El Samurai - ElSam shows NO RESPECT for Ohtani and Ohtani returns the favor by dumping Samurai on his head as often as possible. Heavily clipped, so what you end up with is all the awesome near-falls and the super-hot finish.
El Samurai vs. Tatsuhito Takaiwa - Also clipped, but a very good introduction to the junior wrecking ball that is Takaiwa.
Ohtani vs. Takaiwa - So good, they showed up twice! Veteran fan-favorite Ohtani takes the questionable strategy of trying to match power with the young upstart Takaiwa.
