defeating doppelganger at augury rock in hard mode within 20 seconds using 3 skills on my mesmer sarahh walker. skill 1 - signet of illusion skill 2 - empathy skill 3 - distortion max illusion attribute and rest in fast casting. wearing deldrimor armor with +4 illusion and wielding the mindclouder staff. usage: cast signet of illusion before entering cinematics, once in the fight, immediatly target doppelganger and cast empathy WITHOUTH ATTACKING. run up next to doppelganger and spam distortion. refresh empathy on doppelganger as needed. if done right, he should fall within 20 seconds of starting the battle. Was it all noob hit then run skill? No this actually takes quick thinking & tactics and here is why... 4. The warrior I left him last on my list because he had no ranged attacks which meant he posed no threat as long as I kept my distance. The warrior had Gladiator's Defense & Deadly Riposte which meant I couldn't use my combo to kill him. Knowing Gladiator's Defense had a 10 second duration and a 30 second recharge time and Deadly Riposte had a 10 second recharge time. In the final battle with him I had to trick him into using both block skills before using my combo on him. Notice I used Escape to fool him into thinking I was going to launch an attack on him. He ended up using both his Gladiator's Defense & Deadly Riposte, once he did so I launched my real attack combo on him and killed him a split second before he could activate his healing signet.
