With this short video, I tried to sync up Chief Haldeman's arm-waving to the Treble 8-Bit Pitches and President Nixon peace-sign-flashing to the Bass 8-Bit Pitches.
Although Chief Haldeman is waving his arm in a similar way as Princess Kaguya does in the "HELP ME, ERIN!!!!!!!" Music Video, it is set to a different song. The song used in this short video is a Touhou-Styled Cover of the song "Unumbral Uranium".
I can't make any promises in regards to uploading more videos since I have to take care of real-life obligations.

This is a weird joke character that has one 8-bit sprite of Murasa Minamitsu riding on a motor scooter, and it spawns a bunch of random pictures in some of its attacks. I found it somewhere on a Muvluv Alternative Game Server. Here, I try several times to defeat it using Klarissa Moonflower. Even for a joke char, this Captain Murasa is broken and almost impossible to fight if you're not playing as a char with a ground-level projectile which Klarissa doesn't have. It moves way too fast, and the damage it inflicts is ridiculously high. It also summons a Byakuren Hijiri striker that bounces across the screen, and it's difficult to avoid and hits repeatedly. It also uses voice samples that Captain Commando uses. I have to admit, it's one of the funniest joke chars I've seen yet.
Yet another pirate game ending. A clone of Zelda: A Link to the Past by Waixing, which it took me 2-3 hours to figure out what the Chinese text says and where to go next, because the Dark World dungeons are in different positions (unlike in the SNES original). Also, in this backport there's no Turtle Rock or Ganon's Tower. That sucks, but at least Waixing tried to adapt the game to an 8-bit environment without problems. Enjoy the ending!
Here's another ending of another pirate on the NES: The Dragon. A Mortal Kombat-style game featuring an 8-bit rendition of Bruce Lee, made by Rinco/Ramar in 1995. The last battle seemed to me very hard, but I didn't use any cheats. Enjoy.
This is the ending of Bio-Hazard on the NES, made by Waixing sometime in the 2000's. It's an 8-bit port of Resident Evil (originally released for the PSX). The last boss fight may be hard to beat: if you don't aim correctly, you're lost. Enjoy. Thanks to SpaceNinja88 for the FCEU savestate.
BEHOLD THE 8-BIT GLORY!!! My music here is a reimagining of the intro for the open source version of Star Control 2: The Urquan Masters, and part of the Precursors remix project:
http://sc2.sourceforge.net/
http://www.medievalfuture.com/precursors/
The Intro was composed from four things:
my X5 keyboard,
my rusty old Ross RG10 guitar amp (which I love heartily),
the original soundtrack,
and "Shredder's Theme" from the TMNT movie soundtrack.
Of the last two, only the intro 'boom' from SC2 is used as well as several 'boom' sounds I sampled from the beginning and end of "Shredders Theme" (and subsequently sped up/slowed down, combined & processed - heavily..). Incidentally, that theme is a great piece of work, and holds up today.
This came together pretty smoothly and quickly - without a lot of prior thought.
After that I did a ton of work - on both pieces - trying new plugins and different processing techniques -
No metronomes were harmed in the baking of this cake...
Thanks to the original creators of the game: Toys for Bob - and thanks to the original game composers, for being such an inspiration for me.
If it weren't for you, I would not be as interested in games music as I am today.
