Well what do you know! We made it through the week and I'm going to bed, comforted by the knowledge that I am now caught up on my Olbermann uploads for the week. Enjoy, and be sure to tell your friends about our really big show.
Much of this program centers around the Giuliani/Kerik/Fox News/Roger Ailes/Judith Regan stuff. I have to think that once upon a time this stuff would be on the front page of every newspaper in the country. But let's face it, too many Americans aren't just tuned in to what's going on in this country.
It's funny, but when I was uploading to Youtube, a good percentage of my subscribers were overseas. When I got booted from youtube I was gaining subscribers by the dozens on a daily basis. I'm still hoping to find a way to be able to edit the video enough that you won't have to use the Veoh TV to watch. Right now, it's still a matter of having the time to do everything that needs to be done to get it uploaded. However, I have come up with something that if it works, may make it easier for me. I'll know tomorrow.
A day late on this one but I did want to upload it because it's a real gem. I wish I had time to break it down and upload it in segments so users could embed it on their blog. Embedding it on a blog when you are required to use the player is rather pointless.
I would have uploaded this early Tuesday Wedenesday Morning, but the usual technical glitch crap prevented that. I had left the video to process when I went to bed so I could upload it when I got up. For some reason though the program shut down before it was finished. It happens sometime. So I had to wait until this evening to finish. Enjoy though, it was very much worth waiting for. I'll try to have Wednesdays sometime tomorrow.
The Veterans Day edition of Countdown with Keith Olbermann. I know I said I would put Friday's edition up over the weekend, but an accidental erasure by my girlfriend took care of that. Oh well, Keith was off Friday anyway.
Again it's my bedtime so watch the opening for show details.
For details of today's show, just watch the opening as usual. I'm running late so I don't have time to write a commentary of my own. Enjoy. (Friday's show won't be up until Saturday sometime thought)
Evangelist Pat Robertson endorses Rudy Giuliani proving once again how much one nut case likes to hang out with the other nut case. So will all the right wing neo ultra conservative neo nuts now flock to Rudy? Do you even care what these idiots in the Republican Party do?
In other stuff, a guest of Keith's that worked for ATT tells how they were breaking the law and why Congress shouldn't give them immunity. (But you know they will. Law, order, and the constitution in regards to the government no longer applies.) And one of Keith's more fun segments: Factor Fiction.
The Complete unedited Countdown with Keith Olbermann is back on Veoh! After a temporary stint on Youtube in which my account was deleted (it had nothing to do with them being Olbermann clips. To find out the reason for the deletion visit my blog at www.clydstuff.blogspot.com), I return the program to VEOH.
As for me, I'll upload the program when I can but there will be days that I won't be able to. Anyway, let me know that you're watching and visit my blog occasionally. How many views/downloads the program gets will have a lot to do with how long I stick with this so pass the word around. If you were watching on Youtube, you might pass the word around there. Of the hundreds upon hundreds of clips of Countdown on youtube, I think I was the only one who was doing the complete unedited show from beginning to end. Just as I'm doing here.
The War Over Iraq Spending. The investigation into Blackwater mercenaries. Comedienne Rush Limpbutt is caught doctoring his tapes in regards to his phony soldiers comment. An ad from votevets.org. Britney relinguished custody of her kids and then went for a tan. And what did Stephen Colbert say about Keith Olbermann's skull?
I've decided to lead off the description with the date to make it easier to find out when each episode aired.
The New Iran War Plan. Yes, please make note of the fact that the country is Iran with an N and not Iraq with a q. Keith interviews Seymour Hersh. The Ultra Conservative right wing nut cases don't like another nut case known as Rudy Giuliani. It has something to do with the fact that he might be pro-choice. The nutty right wingers cry that they'll take their precious nutty votes to a third party candidate if Rudy gets nominated. After O'Reilly has threatened to go after anybody who reported about his racism, Keith shows you how to defend yourself if you get ambushed by Mr. Falafel's producers. Britney loses custody. All this and more on this edition of Countdown with Keith Olbermann.
A Conservative Magazine (The American Spectator) slams General Petraeus. Will we hear cries of outrage from Congress about this as we did the Move-on ad? Oh, right! I almost forgot. The Spectator is a right wing publication so that's different.
Rush Limbaugh says that any soldier who says things aren''t going so hot in Iraq is a phony soldier. Two of the soldiers who helped write an op-ed for the New York Times saying the War was not accomplishing its objectives were killed in Iraq. Would these be the phony soldiers Rush is talking about? Of course the Congress will condemn Limpbutt the way they did Move-on, won't they. Oh wait! I forgot. Limpbutt is a right wing water carrier so the rules are different for him.
Keith interviews Elizabeth Edwards. More of Keith's interview with former President Clinton. More on Bill O'Reilly and his racist comments.
Interviews with former President Bill Clinton and Senator Webb of Virginia. Senator Webb is the Senator who sponsored the bill that would require troops get at least a year of in between deployments to Iraq. The Repugnants of course, don't really care about the well being of the troops beyond phony photo-ops. Honestly, I do believe that if the Republicans could, they would find a way not to let them come home for a break at all. Then they could send them over there for 18 months, 24 months, or the sky's the limit. As long as the Repugs continue to goose step to Führer Bush. More on O'Reilly's racist tendencies and Rash Limpbottom said Service members who support U.S. withdrawal are "phony soldiers." I guess that would include the two soldiers who wrote an op-ed to the New York Times disagreeing that the Iraq War was accomplishing anything. To the repugnants, the fact that they paid the ultimate price mean little to them.
(For some reason the earlier upload of this doesn't want to finish processing. So, I'll try again and hope for the best but it explains why Tuesday comes after Wedensday)
Did the Bush administration use a phony terror alert to coerce Congress into passing FISA? Keith interviews Congresswoman Jane Harman, who says such an event took place last month. Is Bush trying to slip war advise to Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama? Bush's nonsensical appearance at the U.N. Rudy Giuliania, the self proclaimed 9/11 candidate has a fund raiser thrown for him where the cost to get in is $9.11. The Hype for Halo 3 is explored. All of this and more.
Part Three of Three of the Democratic Debate that took place at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. I've seen several of these now and I know which candidates I would prefer to see get the nomination, although if necessary, I would vote for any of them before I would ever vote for one of those jokesters the Republicans have running.

Throwing more money into the endless pit of despair known as Iraq. A sudden change in Robert Gates presentation before Congress. He was going to invoke 9/11, then kind of changed his mind. And did you know that Childrens do learn? You'll see what I mean. Will Hilary come under attack at the debates? And My oh my what is to become of the Barry Bonds baseball. All this and more on another edition of Countdown with Keith Olbermann.
Stories on the Iranian President Ahmadinejad's visit to Columbia University. How Bush used a bogus terror threat to get his FISA bill passed. Britney's bodyguard speaks and guess which Brady had a crush on which other Brady.
Most of Last week Olbermann was out after an emergency appendectomy. Making a quick recovery, he returned on Thursday. Unfortunately, this was also at the same time that I was changing ISP's and switching from cable to Satellite Dish and didn't get everything set up the way I wanted it until today. Because of financial problems, it was necessary to switch from a cable modem to DSL in order to save money. How much of Olbermann I can upload will depend on how much slower the DSL is. Because of this, it could result in a bit lower quality in order to make the files smaller. At any rate, despite all the problems I did manage to record last Friday's show. Here it is.
Better late than never in getting this up. This is Keith's show reported from Ground Zero on the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack. Again, this edition of the show is another example of why Countdown should be the highest rated cable newscast in primetime. Highlights include Joe Lieberman as Worst Person. What a totally useless human being he has become. Keith Olbermann's end segment entitled No Truth, No Consequences is another must see.
It's all Petraeus as our government continues to play kick the can.
Our government has broken down completely and has become nothing but a means to an end, the end being for our politiciains to stay in office and to hold onto power and screw the country. It's not like any of these people in Washington give a damn. Not one of them has the guts to stand up and say, "Enough is enough." We're not going to give in to it anymore.
Today the Republicans were bitching and moaning about an ad by Move On that said Petraeus or Betray Us? And of course, Democrat Joe Biden cowered behind the idiocy and said that was not a nice thing to say. Yet, we all know it is true. But again, its attack the messenger, and not the message.
The Petreaus Report...well it's not really a report, it turns out that Petreaus will report to Congress but he won't be putting anything on paper. I guess there just isn't much to tell. I read a column earlier comparing Petreaus to William Westmoreland, and that's not a good thing.
Did you know that the war has shrunk? Yes, the war is no longer the Iraq war, but is now only the Anbar Province war where the Sunni leaders have taken up arms against Al Qaida for the time being. The only problem is, once Al Qaida is taken care of, there's still although Shiites. And there is the problem of government corruption in Iraq.
Bin Laden is back and in good health. He took a trip down to the local drugstore to buy some dye for his beard. Uh...who said he was going to get Bin Laden dead or alive six years ago. Oh yeah, the shrub. All this and more.
No video yesterday due to technical problems. You didn't miss much. Today is a different story as Keith has an excellent program for you. He goes into depth again about how Bush's plan all along was to occupy Iraq indefinitely with never any attention of getting out. He shows how the number of those killed and wounded are being changed so that the Repugs can claim a 75 percent decline in the casualty rate. The first two segments will certainly tick you off. Billo is back as worst person.
Labor day is over. It's time to get down to serious business. A New book is coming out called Dead Certain in which Bush says Bremer never told him he was disbanding the Iraqui Army. Bremer says other wise and provides the mails to catch the Shrub in yet another lie.
Bush feeds the media and the public one of his b.s. lines about possibly some troops coming home. Keith catches him in a lie about this also when it turns out that the only thing Bush is interested in is keeping Republican support until October or November when the Republican candidate for President will have to sign on to a policy of keeping the troops in Iraq indefinitely. Keith gives a forceful and scathing commentary about the Liar Bush once again.
In the first segment, it's still more Dirty Larry Craig who may resign on Saturday. In other segments Keith takes a look at the mass exodus of Republicans from the White House, and then shows how to make a surge look like it's working. You simply quit counting most of those killed. A segment on Diana's Memorial service, Dragnet again, and Craig's strange comments about Clinton which are strange. Finally, the issue of whether Keith is wearing a toupee is explored as Tom Delay makes worst person.
In the opening segment its Dirty Larry of Idaho once again. Keith plays the recording made during Larry Craigs arrest. In other segments, Elizabeth Edwards say Hilary may be unelectable because of the vicious attack from the right wing nuttos of America. The GAO Iraq assessment is relesed before the White House can neuter it. Fred Thompson announces he will announce....soon. And Britney? She shows us a little cheek.
On the 2 year anniversary of the devastation following Hurricane Katrina, Keith and guests take a look at what is and isn't being done. It seems more money proportionately is going to Mississippi although it suffered much less severe damage than Louisiana. The difference? Mississippi is a Republican state with a Republican Governor.
More on Senator Larry Craig, and the Republicans who are throwing him under the bus, especially Mitt Romney, who is throwing him and then backing over him a few times just to be sure. Keith does a re-enactment of the crime scene later in the program.
Leona Helmsly left her pooch twelve million and gave two of her kids nothing. And she wants her tomb scrubbed a dub dub dubbed at least once a year.
Another day, another Republican hypocrite bites the dust. as anti-gay marriage, anti-everything Idaho Senator Larry Craig's restroom playtime is exposed. Rachael Maddow joins Keith to discuss Republicans who want to inflict their own brand of intolerance and morality on everybody else, while at the same time doing those things they preach against.

Bush drums up his scare tactics against Iran. I guess with all his incompetent cronies fleeing a sinking sheep, he wants to start another war so he'll have something to occupy his time with.
Gone-zo, the Day after. A discussion about who the replacement for Gonzo will be. I can answer this. It will be a lifelong loyal and true friend of The Shrub who will do anything to keep his master happy.
Flubbing up Miss South Carolina gets a redo.
Luke Skywalker's light saber takes a trip into space.
Most of the early part of the show deals with Alberto Gonzales's resignation. Guests include Dana Milbank and Howard Dean. Worst Person is Sean Hannity. A segment on Americna Idol auditions in Philadelphia among others. Visit my blog at http://www.clydestuff.blogspot.com
Countdown with Keith Olbermann moves from cable outlet MSNBC to the NBC National network for a one night only special edition preceding the NFL game...in most cities. Out west here where I lived you really had to scramble to find it and at what time it would be shown which is why the first few seconds of this is missing.
It took place in Chicago on August 8, 2007. After this analysis Keith interviewed the debate with Joe Biden. You can watch that interview on my blog at http://clydestuff.blogspot.com/
Keith Olbermann moderates the forum that took place between the Democratic Presidential Candidates at Soldier Field in Chicago. The debate was sponsored by the AFL-CIO.
The NFL told Michael Vick not to report to training camp. Whatever that means. My guess is Mr. Vick will probably not be playing quarterback anytime soon. Dan Abrams reports
Countdown with Keith Olbermann for Tuesday July 10, 2007. Stories: 1. Bush in the Bubble - You're not listening. Olbermann fact checks the delusional Bush. 2. Debunking Fredo - Gonzalez is caught in some more lies. So what else is new? I guess they'll call him up to capitol hill before congress so that he can tell some more. 3. Michael Moore vs. CNN - Moore pitches a shutout against CNN. In this segment, Rachael Maddow and Keith examine the news philosophy of feeling that they have to put on another side to a news story for balance, even if that other side is a lie or completely fabricated. 4. Springfield Vermont is the Simpsons winner. 5. Another Republican hypocrite brought to us once again by the state of Louisiana, this time in the form of David Vitter, who has a fine eye for young women in brothels. All this and more on this edition of Countdown with Keith Olbermann.
1. End the war, the debate rages on. 2. Executive Privilege - further obstruction of justice 3. Things are not so sunny for Katie Couric at CBS 4. Which is the real Springfield
1. Rewriting the law (Scooter and the Commuter) 2. The I Team (resigned to scandal) 3. Pardon Politics (Clinton enters the fray) 4. Obama Scare on the campaign trail 5. Eagle Eyed (Back from the Brink) 6. In the flesh (Running of the nudes)
You can compare the speech to what happened in the years that followed. A lot of the things he tried to do he was able to, but there were many disappointments. He did balance the budget, the first president to do so which may have been his biggest achievement. Of course, health care in this country has not improved and only has gotten worse. But you can't blame that failure entirely on the Clinton's as the Congress sold out to the millions of dollars of the Health Care Industry.
I think what Clinton was most naive about was this idea that he could bring the country together. Little did he know at the time that from the time he was elected, the Republicans would institute their political version of the scorched earth policy. I have another video I will upload eventually from election night that shows an interview with Bob Dole on election night that was a harboring of what was to come from the Republicans.
Okay, since Veoh doesn't want to cooperate in letting me upload the whole show at once, I'll do it in parts. This is part one of Countdown with Keith Olbermann, Thursday June 28, 2007.
In this video, Bob Costas interviewed the late but great newscaster, David Brinkley the night before the 1992 elections. It's a very entertaining interview, but what is amazing is how much of it still applies today as we head into the 2008 elections. It's certainly worth a look see.
And does it in a way that only Keith can. His obvious disdain about having to cover these crappy stories shines and because of that his segments on stuff like this are infinitely more entertaining than coverage you will find anywhere else.
Starting off we have the House passing a bill partially funding the war up until the end of July, at which time Bush is suppose to provide a progress report. Don't look for the Senate to pass it and if they do Bush will veto it. The visit by the Republicans to the White House may have been nothing more than grandstanding.
General Batiste is fired by CBS for appearing in a Vote Vets ad. A funny segment on Dueling Gonzaleses. Keith does a bit on Family Guy.
Republicans go to the White House and tell Bush he has no credibility on the Iraq war. Uh...huh. Tell us something we don't know. Attacks in Iraq are up since the beginning of the surge. Some Generals take Bush to task over the Iraq War. Fredo Gonzales is headed back to the hill. O.J. is asked to leave a restaurant and he cries racism. American Idol become I-dull.
Here is Tuesday's program. Better late than never. To find out what it's about check the opening of the show. My glasses are broken and I can't see a freaking thing.
