Spain Rodriguez is one of the best-known artists in underground comix. After first gaining attention covering the 1968 Democratic Convention for The East Village Other, he was recruited by Robert Crumb to draw comix for Zap. There, his off-beat political stance and history in the Road Vultures Motorcycle Club proved rich material for showcasing his crisp, bold line drawing style, which is best demonstrated in his seminal tabloid Zodiac Mindwarp and his Trashman series. A former "intimate" friend of Janis Joplin and collaborator of Frank Zappa and Charles Bukowski, Spainâs work has appeared everywhere from Penthouse to Salon.

This is a song I recorded using a Roland Multi-Track Recorder in the closet of my girlfriends apartment. I think it sounds somewhat like Steve Miller Band/David Bowie/Frank Zappa.
Conceived by Bertrand Bonello (The Pornographer, Tiresia, Cindy The Doll Is Mine) as a multi-media project (a 65-mn CD album, a 40-mn film for theatrical release, a 4x10-mn installation, a website...), My New Picture is undoubtedly an atypical object: "It's not a film soundtrack, Bonello explains, but a film by itself. I'm not playing with words or being precious. It's really the way I conceived 'My New Picture' and how I feel it. It's been often said I make musician films. This would be a filmmaker album. I wanted the storyline to be musical only. 'A film for the ears', says Zappa." Bertrand Bonello and actress Sabrina Seyvecou introduce the project at French theater Reflet Medicis in Paris on September 11, 2007.

I chose to play as Robo-Ky MKII in this vid. He has all of the normal moves except the rocket launcher and the Horse, that I can remember. I also gave him the Potemkin Buster, Tyrant Rave(Sol Badguy's Overdrive), Bellows Malice(Zappa's Ultimate Ghost Overdrive), and Gamma Ray(Justice/Dizzy's Overdrive). I fought against 2 Robo-Ky's and the original Ky at level 999 in the Undersea Factory Level.
