Although it is still very young, Play Rock Music Festival is highly rated as the third largest music festival in China besides Midi and Strawberry. In the past two years, many well-known musicians and bands like Cui Jian, Tang Dynasty, Yip Sai Wing, Sodagreen, Edison Chen, Tanya Chua, MC Hotdog, Xie Tianxiao, Alan Ko, Josie Ho, Boran Jing, Miserable Faith, Second Hand Rose Band, Escape Plan, Hao Yun performed on Play Rock Music Festival’s stage. As Cui Jian said, Play Rock Music Festival brought with him a refreshing outlook of music festival, and he is very happy to communicate with his fans in Hefei. Renminbi funds are quickly fueling China's budding private equity industry, with TPG Capital, Blackstone Group LP and Carlyle Group using the instruments, which are denominated in Chinese currency, to attract local investors. One Hong Kong company also taking advantage of the trend is CDC Corp., a developer and investor in enterprise software that recently signed an agreement with the government of Nanhai District, Foshan, to jointly establish a 600 million renminbi ($90 million) private equity fund focused on new media and tech companies in China and the U.S. On a recent visit to New York, CDC CEO Peter Yip dropped by The Deal magazine to chat about renminbi funds and his relationships with U.S. investors, including New York venture capital firm Greycroft Partners. This is a fan tribute to the great film that is "Ip Man". Yip Man was the first martial arts master to teach the Chinese martial art of Wing Chun openly. He had several students who later became martial arts teachers in their own right, including Bruce Lee. The video is mainly divided into 3 Acts. Act I showcases Yip Man as a humble Wing Chun exponent. Recognized by the people in Fo Shan for his skill and humility, he started to teach the art of Wing Chun which, we know is now one of the most mainstream forms of Chinese martial arts. I touched on his philosophy and his views of Wing Chun and martial arts. Act II portrays him as an Avenger. His friend Lin was killed by the Japanese for fighting in a 'friendly' spar in a dojo. Yip Man rains his fists upon his enemies in a flurry of pain and fury. ACT III defines Yip Man as a National Hero who ignited the unity and nationalism in the Chinese by beating a Japanese general in public. I want to showcase as epic as a fight as possible. Yip Man not only fights physically with General Miura, but in ideology as well. A battle on 2 fronts. I sweated tears and blood for this one. This is the first serious non-anime video I've attempted. Well it ended up being too serious but I wanted to make it work. *Please comment on the video. * All useful feedback will help me in my next video and will be greatly appreciated.

In the past, some Bruce Lee fans thought that if they just studied Wing Chun, they could be as good as their idol!! The reality is that Bruce Lee was very disciplined and spent countless hours training and perfecting his technique. Bruce Lee would have been a master regardless of the style he chose to practice!! Wing Chun is a simple, effective martial art, but even Bruce Lee knew that he had to modify the traditional style taught to him by his teacher, Yip Man. He eventually created the art of Jeet Kune Do to improve his fighting. This DVD includes some of Bruce Lee's practice and fighting drills.

Ting Wing Bong is the CEO-owner of Ting Fung, a wealthy business that specializes in gold/jewelry making. The wealth, unfortunately, came from years and years of fraud, bribery, and financial mismanagement by all in Ting Fung and other triad-like associations Mr. Ting built throughout the years. Mr. Ting lives in a great big house with Mrs. Ting and their three kids, Ivan, Oscar, and Yan Yan, who is mentally-challenged. Ivan and Rachel (a lawyer) begin a relationship and travel to Australia, Oscar returns after finishing his studies in the US, and Yan Yan goes about her merry way as the most innocent character of the series....
