In this video interview, Paul Hargreaves gives a brief history of Cotswold Fayre a gourmet food supplier to over 1200 fine food retailers, farm shops and delis. Customers are spoilt for choice with over 1500 product lines, sourced from the UK and as far as New Zealand and South Africa. During our ten year history as a fine food wholesaler and distributor, we have always offered a selection of handmade goods. These are sourced from specialist producers such as small family businesses and cottage industries. The vast majority of these gourmet products are entirely free of preservatives, additives or artificial flavouring. Future plans include opening a Northern warehouse enabling Cotswold Fayre to become a national fine food wholesaler.
First there were Free Hugs. Now there are Bee Hugs for everyone! But what if there were no bees left to hug? Colony collapse disorder is causing bees to disappear in droves. And if they go, we all go. Umbra,on her best bee-havior, talks with New York City's Bee Manto get the buzz on how we can all help -- then takes to the streets for some honey-lovin' hijinks.

You might think that this wasnât typical of births, however for Shirley and her friends and family at Combes Farm this is a regular experience. I'm sure you'll agree that we can learn so many things from watching calm, gentle, natural births, even when the circumstances are not quite what you first perceived.
((MOR Vacations)) Shhhhh Alright Already- we are undercover detectives on the lookout for secrets that companies don't want you to know. In this case, we stumbled across a Big Beer Company's Clydesdale Horse Farm in the Springfield/Branson, Missouri area. We had to share the videos because these brand new baby Clydesdales are absolutely adorable. It wasn't very many years ago, that there were only a few Clydesdales left in the world. Stay tuned for Part 4 thru 6.

CAP's Reel Progress, the progressive film series, interviews the filmmakers behind The Garden, the Academy Award nominated documentary.
FILM SYNOPISIS:
The fourteen-acre community garden at 41st and Alameda in South Central Los Angeles is the largest of its kind in the United States. Started as a form of healing after the devastating L.A. riots in 1992, the South Central Farmers have since created a miracle in one of the country’s most blighted neighborhoods. Growing their own food. Feeding their families. Creating a community.
But now, bulldozers are poised to level their 14-acre oasis.
The Garden follows the plight of the farmers, from the tilled soil of this urban farm to the polished marble of City Hall. Mostly immigrants from Latin America, from countries where they feared for their lives if they were to speak out, we watch them organize, fight back, and demand answers:
Why was the land sold to a wealthy developer for millions less ...

Oooh we've had some wonderfully sunny weather this week so i took the opportunity today to visit my friend David Kennard on his farm that over-looks Lee Bay on North Devon's breath-taking Atlantic Coast. David is a well-known Sheppherd who has written books like 'A Shepherd's Watch' which became a Sunday Times top ten bestseller, his films about the talented sheep dogs and farm life have been shown on T.V and are very popular. David told us a bit about himself and why he loves Devon.
Another Monochromatic masterpiece from the not so golden age of horror movies. In this Public Domain flick, we find out just how convincing a monster you can create with a surplus diving suit, some paper mache and a few dozen bananas. Slap em all together and add some paint and you have "The Horror of Party Beach!
In this gem, the locals of an unidentified oceanside community are shocked when a number of grizzly murders are occuring in their quiet little hamlet. It starts with a single bikini babe buying the farm and progresses through the town drink, all the way up to a full blown sleepover party massacre. If you like radioactive monsters from the deep, then you will love this schlocky monster Mash! Just in time for Halloween!
The BCSO vegetable garden is finished and the inmates who planted it are hoping their collective green thumbs will compensate for the less than ideal soil conditions. The ground's a bit rocky but everyone's believing the garden will produce a virtual cornucopia of cucumbers, squash, okra, green beans and big red tomatoes. Of course, the purpose of the garden is so inmates can benefit from fresh, home-grown vegetables while enjoying their stay at the luxurious Bradley County jail. Sheriff Tim Gobble and Capt. Gabe Thomas - two old-school farm hands - bring us up to speed on the garden's progress as of the last week of May 2008, and what we can expect come harvest time.

When is a non-organic apple better than an organic one? When that non-organic apple is grown on a local farm that practices sustainable agriculture. In this video we head to Stone Ridge Orchard, located in the Hudson River Valley two hours north of New Your City, to see how they are using progressive ecological farming methods to produce apples that are good tasting, good for the land, and good for your health. We learn that sustainable farming can't always be pesticide free, but can use natural ecosystems and pests like aphids to reduce pesticide use and promote land stewardship. And we get an introduction to Stone Ridge's 'Know Your Roots' philosophy, which acknowledges that every farm is different, and that organic food is more than a label on your produce. Check out these apples' roots. You'll never look at a Granny Smith the same way again.
A couple of boys get left at Uncle Jim and Aunt Helen's dairy farm by their parents. Excellent example of a rainy-day film for an elementary school.
Follow George and Betty, as they meet up with their cousins (with hick accents and all) Andy and Jane. Big Bill, when he gets introduced, can't keep his hands off the cows' udders. According to him, he's just trying to ensure the milk stays "good and wholesome." Sure Bill...we believe you.
Make sure you stick around for the suspenseful rope scene. These kids (excluding George) have upper body strength like little body builders.
Don't forget what Uncle Jim always says, "cows are much like people."
