"A show created with the brainwaves of the audience!" ANiMA LiBERA will introduce their unique audio-visual show using a live Interactive Brain Activity Visualizer to have members of the audience interacting with the band music and visuals.
This screencast covers the basics of setting up the code you need to get a game-specific plugin working and getting started with the animation engine. We are reimplementing part of bloom (MegaMiner 5) in the new visualizer. We will cover some more advanced topics in the coming screencasts, but I just wanted to get everyone acquainted with how things are set up and give enough background to get people started. Please e-mail or tweet me your questions/criticisms. Apologies for poor editing/video quality. I did not record it in the correct format apparently. Also, it was my first screencast. Supposedly, I'll get better over time. Also, I tried my best to assume you had minimal knowledge of c++.

This is a video of the actual quantum realm that produces reality. No, not really, but it looks like it. For the music, I cut up songs, retaining the parts I liked. Then a fade-in/fade-out was applied to each clip. Then they were slightly overlapped to to try to make it seamless. Now, I could âÂÂmake upâ that I got the visuals to jump in sync with the music by actually videoing the nearby quantum realm affected, but, I didnâÂÂt; However, any itunes visualizer does this. The problem was how to record both the music and the visuals playing on the computer screen from itunes. This was done via screen capture software called Snap Pro X. Then it had to be exported as a smaller size movie and uploaded to Veoh. So, I hope it brings a sense of wonder, along with great thoughts and poems of the TOE.

Liam and Shaggy open the show with their comments on the latest news including Harry Potter, LED footprint floor panels, rat brain controlled robots, visualizer glasses, world's tallest woman, John McCain, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, Russia and Georgia, and the Olympics. Liam and Shaggy go out to the streets and offer passers-by a chance to exercise their freedom of speech in the new Soapbox Derby. Liam and Shaggy close the show with another of downtownTV.com Music Video Pixs: Disasteradio - Awesome Feelings, a video by Simon Ward, Luke Rowell and Don Brooker.

DJ Ty from www.agiprodj.com shows us the Visualizer feature on the new Pioneer SVM-1000 sound/video mixer. The visualizer is great to use when you need to play a track that has no video. It's kinda like the visualizer that comes with Apple's iTunes.
Haven't had so much fun with e-music ever! Courtesy of Mike Calore's Monkey Bytes blog on wired.com, I downloaded Sound-Of-Traffic, a nifty Java code, created by one other than John Weir of smokinggun.com fame. His Java Synthesizer converts the IP/TCP message headers of the data packets traversing the net into music notes that you can individually manipulate. Cool!
This, enhanced with Garageband and combined with the Eyephedrine (by GioFX) visualizer on Apple's iTunes client can produce some deeply resonating, addictive audiovisual experiences. (For me, at least....) If you're into mashups, send me a comment and I'll point you to the FTP directory where you can download the sound and/or the video file, under the Creative Commons Attribution license.
Sound of Traffic is available , totally free, for Mac, Windows and *nix at:
