This is my first fan video (or slideshow?) ever, and it is a tribute to the wonderful manga series by Yumi Tamura, Legend of BASARA. Basara has an anime series, but it was cancelled after a few episodes, hence I tend to make no reference to it. Plus, I don't think the production made justice to the manga, which I adore. One thing I love about BASARA is its outstandingly good writing and storytelling. The song used in this video is Ikimono Gakari's Nostalgia, copyrighted by Sony Music (I think). YouTube did not approve my video due to this copyright, which I do not intend to violate. I hope it's OK to post it here. I mean no harm, just to share my love for a great story with a very good song. For more information, like where I got the manga and artbook scans from, check the CREDITS at the end of the video. Thank you for watching!

I decided to grab a camera and a few friends with an aim to make a little tribute to my home town and the place that's been a fair constant in my life, for better or worse. So here is part one, hope you get to know 'The Wood' a little better, or for the first time.
This video is made with three objectives.
1. To Dedicate this a memory to my nephew Sairam Nellutla who passed away Sep 13 2010.
2. It is also a tribute to the great Piyush MIshraa who is an inspiration to me.
3. To Motivate anyone who is going through problems.

Let`s face it: Pogo has been an inspiration and a role model ever since he popped up on youtube in 2007 and we - fans around the entire globe - must pay our support and respects to the Wizard of Perth. He is constantly challenged by major corporations and forces so I made this as a tribute to the young man whose strange music and videos enhances the lives of millions every day. I produced and edited this profile of Allan Alcorn for the PBS affiliate in the Silicon Valley, KTEH (now branded as KQED+). You probably know that Al is the Father of PONG, but you're going to amazed when you find out the other projects he's had his hand in. Personally, it was a real treat for me to meet Al and spend a few hours with him. Very similar to the structure of Guy Kawasaki's piece: there's an opening scene, a linear story of his life, then a return to the opening scene (which allows me to re-cap the story you were just told). Graphically, it's based on the box of the Atari home version of PONG. Not an outright copy, but it uses the curved line and the bands of orange color. The rest of the graphics were a real egg hunt. Al provided a few pictures from the 1970s, but the rest came from trolling around on Atari tribute sites. I was very sad to cut out an early section about the importance of his Berkeley years. He witnessed the tear gassing of rioters on Telegraph Avenue and considers it to be an important event in his life. It took about thirty seconds for Al to tell the story, and it was only cut because This Is Us had to fit it's running time.

It's really a short demo of voices from Kingdom Hearts, but I call it a collage cause it's more like a tribute or like memories playing back. Also, voices of some characters are used more than once which is usually a no no in a demo.
A Tribute to the talents of Kai Thomas Larsen Indeed he performs, sings and even wrote this parody - based on a real-life incident. By far he is one of the most gifted entertainers of his generation and I have done this with his blessing. His song is spiced with the incredable talents of the brothers De Fazio and Nureyev with Anthony Dowell.
I always told my friends and family that the only way I would ever root for the Raiders was if Al Davis was DEAD. Staying true to my promise, I am pulling for them this year. After 82 years of his cancerous presence on planet earth, Davis has finally left us to dwell back down in the underworld where he anxiously awaits Frank McCourt's return!

I was just getting out of Nike Training class with Meryl C at RSC near Belmont Hall when I saw the long stream of UT players heading toward the UT tower where the rally was going to be held. It was a tough choice, dance class or the rally. I got swept away by the emotions of the rally and I happened to have my iphone camera handy. I got what I hope you'll enjoy are shots of the team, the torch girl, the cheerleaders, Coach Brown and the fans.
Wednesday night thousands of Longhorns fans gathered for the annual pep rally at The University of Texas before this weekend's football game against the University of Oklahoma. I miss you, Baby Girl.
When BET announced a program in tribute to Aaliyah, I expected a ceremony with artists interpreting the biggest hits for Aaliyah. Was it really too much to ask? Especially for the 10 years of his disappearance. Anyway, the show was still interesting and a good summary of the artistic life of Aaaliyah. It made me realize how much I miss it really, not only as an artist but also as a person. Many people have difficulty understanding the intensity of the emotional bond that a fan has with an artist. Being a fan of an artist is like falling in love with it, and it is committed to his art as much as the person (or what can be seen in person). And it is this lack of human vis-à-vis Aaliyah I felt watching this report, including the poignant end. I miss you, Baby Girl.
