âÂÂTHE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE ON A WHALER â A BRILLIANT CONCEPT EXECUTED IN A MOST IMAGINATIVE, OLD SCHOOL WAY. HORROR FANS ARE GOING TO LAP IT UP, BIG TIME.â (FOUR STARS) â Billy Chainsaw, Bizarre Magazine Harpoon: The Reykjavik Whale Watching Massacre (cert. 18) will be released on DVD (ã12.99) by E1 Entertainment on 10th May 2010.
A husband and wife in a small Midwestern town find themselves battling for survival as their friends and family descend into madness in The Crazies. A mysterious toxin in the water supply turns everyone exposed to it into mindless killers and the authorities leave the uninfected to their certain doom in this terrifying reinvention of the George Romero horror classic. Directed by Breck Eisner (Sahara), The Crazies is written by Ray Wright (Pulse, Case 39) and Scott Kosar (The Amityville Horror, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre). The American Dream goes horribly wrong when the residents of this pictureâperfect town begin to succumb to an uncontrollable urge for violence and the horrific bloodshed escalates into anarchy. In an attempt to contain the epidemic, the military uses deadly force to close off access into or out of town, abandoning the few healthy citizens to the growing mayhem as depraved killers lurk in the shadows.

“It occured to me if I start one up, you know that the people would part like the waters… that’s the true story.”
Put that line in context, and you’ll get the point.
Beyond that, he also discusses his influences, why torture porn has seen such a rise in popularity, and has a tip for budding film makers.

Thousands and thousands of video store owner demo tapes were made during the 1980's. Distributors would send these out to get video store owners to buy copies of their product. Often the trailers and content differed vastly from the actual VHS release. The demo tapes were sent out on the cheap. No tape guard, bare bones box art and designed to play really only once..just enough to sell the film.
This "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2" demo tape features the TCM2 teaser trailer, a chopped mini-trailer for "TCM" and completely different narrative set-up than the film had itself.
I have not included the Sneak Preview of "TCM2" on this upload due to copyright issues.
I have included a fresh scan of the video box art. This appears at the begining of the clip.
