This film will crack you up...It was a good night for FSB (Funk Soul & Blues) on May 21 of 1998 in New York City. Jon Hammond brought his band in to the SAVOY LOUNGE on 41st St. across from Port Authority Bus Terminal and next to Carroll Music Instrument Rental & Studios where all the cats rehearsed: On tenor sax Todd Anderson, Joris Dudli on drums, Barry Finnerty guitar and Jon Hammond at the B3 organ playing some of Jon Hammond's classic Funk Soul compositions 'Head Phone' and end of 'Nu Funk ('Hip Hop Chitlins'). Drummer Bernard Purdie had just walked in and the joint was jumping. RIP Savoy Lounge NYC! Como is situated at the southwest tip of the deepest lake in Europe, and those charming Italian villas were best seen from an optional boat trip. Our family opted to walk around this extremely very old world town for the two hours we had in Como. For that reason, there's not too much footage of our entire group, the Perillo "Familia" that we became. Odd trees, beautiful villas, Palace Hotel, trolley terminal stop.
