"Summer of '69" is a song recorded by Canadian recording artist Bryan Adams, from his fourth studio album, Reckless (1984). The song was written by Adams and Jim Vallance, a long-time writing partner of Adams. "Summer of '69" was produced by Adams and Bob Clearmountain. It was released in June 1985 under A&M Records as the fourth single from Reckless. As with most Adams songs, "Summer of '69" is an up-tempo rock song.

Yuriev.TV | My home: Nuclear Base. Episode 06: "UFO"
When I was 5 years old, during one nice hot summer day I was playing outside with our anti-tank cannon...
Suddenly, a sparkling sphere in a diameter of 5 to 7 meters appeared. It was flying just above our 4 storey apartment building. It was changing colors from red to green to blue. It resembled a steel ball. It was moving silently. It didn't reflect anything...
In complete calmness, slowly it flew over the roofs of our army base, slowly went away to the horizon, until it disappeared.
My mother explained to me, that because of the nuclear tests happening about one time per month in our place, and as well as tests at the Space Station nearby, there are a lot of anomalies happen in our area, such as free flowing plasma, free floating lighting balls, and other unknown environmental phenomena.
My mother guessed: it could be a spherical plasmoid.
Of course, she couldnât believe it was in size of 5 to 7 meters in diameter. Usually plasmoids appear to ...
"Polo 2-vs-2": This time, our "Get Lost in Loudoun" crew members find themselves in green pastures at Llangollen, a farm in Upperville, which in Welsh means "land's end." The home of the Virginia International Polo Club, Llangollen is set against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Founded in 2007, it includes several fields and a polo school, and hosts tournaments and charity matches. Our cast meets Maureen Brennan who runs the club and introduces the challenge, which is a crash course in playing polo and then a thrilling head-to-head match. It's another battle of the sexes, with the women versus the men. Even though the cast are novices at polo and riding horses, they take to it quickly and have a ball...even though one of our players discovers that horses have minds of their own, and has a different idea for "getting lost" on this lovely summer day. Who will win this week on "Get Lost in Loudoun?" Watch and find out! More information on the series is at http://www.GetLostinLoudoun.com Get Lost in Loudoun: A Loudoun Adventure Web Series! Ever wondered what would happen in your own home if you were taken away, and everything inside was left to rot? The answer is revealed in this fascinating programme, which explores the strange and surprising science of decay.
For two months in summer 2011, a glass box containing a typical kitchen and garden was left to rot in full public view within Edinburgh Zoo. In this resulting documentary, presenter Dr George McGavin and his team use time-lapse cameras and specialist photography to capture the extraordinary way in which moulds, microbes and insects are able to break down our everyday things and allow new life to emerge from old.
Decay is something that many of us are repulsed by. But as the programme shows, it's a process that's vital in nature. And seen in close up, it has an unexpected and sometimes mesmerising beauty.
It is high summer in the polar regions, and the sun never sets. Vast hordes of summer visitors cram a lifetime of drama into one long, magical day; they must feed, fight and rear their young in this brief window of plenty. Summer is a tough time for the polar bear family, as their ice world melts away and the cubs take their first swimming lesson. Some bears save energy by dozing on icy sun beds, while others go egg-collecting in an Arctic tern colony, braving bombardment by sharp beaks. There are even bigger battles on the tundra; a herd of musk oxen gallop to the rescue as a calf is caught in a life and death struggle with a pair of Arctic wolves. But summer also brings surprises, as a huge colony of 400,000 king penguins cope with an unlikely problem - heat. The adults go surfing, while the woolly-coated chicks take a cooling mud bath. Nearby, a bull fur seal is prepared to fight to the death with a rival. Fur flies as the little pups struggle desperately to keep out of the way of the duelling giants. Further south, a minke whale is hunted amongst the ice floes by a family of killer whales. The dramatic chase lasts over 2 hours and has never been filmed before. The killers harry the minke whale, taking it in turns to wear it down. Eventually it succumbs to the relentless battering. Finally, comical adelie penguins waddle back to their half a million strong colony like clockwork toys. The fluffy chicks need constant feeding and protection as piratical skuas patrol the skies. When an unguarded chick is snatched, a dramatic "dogfight" ensues.

At the age of 21, Brom Wikstrom was refining his craft. The son of a commercial artist, Brom also had a knack for painting. After illustrating his high school yearbook, he enrolled in college art classes. But that summer, Brom was injured in a diving accident that left him a quadriplegic. He would spend more than a year in the hospital. Though his hands could no longer hold a brush, his passion for painting couldn't be stilled. He soon began to paint again, but this time holding the paintbrush in his mouth. Now, Brom's beautiful artwork is known worldwide. And, thanks to the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (MFPA), he and hundreds of artists like him are able to earn a living.

This video is a reenactment of the first 2 days of a tabletop roleplaying game, played in a Roleplaying Class at Acting Up Creative Drama Academy's Summer Holiday Program of 2011. The roleplaying game is a fixed script written by me, Kenneth Larsen, titled "The Isle of Mist". An adventure where the players have designed their own characters and formulated decisions and actions based on the challenges and conflicts I planned out on their way through the game. The theater reenactment is followed by B-roll footage and pictures taking you through the rest of the story as it would have played out, if more time had been available.
