CIAM`s new music video “The Call”, beckons with an enticing imagery and hypnotic movement. The idea for the video stems from their soon-to-be released debut album “Anonymous”, which is designed to be a sensory experience of mixed media. CIAM`s vision is to infuse their music with visual art making the two symbiotic.
In “The Call,” London-based CIAM advances beyond the intrigue of their hit debut video release, “Here I Am” with a nod to Salvador Dali and Monty Python. Powerful statements, brilliant colors, and a haunting melody profess the true artisan that embodies CIAM. www.ciammusic.com
It is true! It has been proven! Light Yagami watches Monty Python! Don't believe me? Just watch...
(Yes, I realize how horribly dorky this is, and yes, I am twice as dorky for actually making this video. XD)
The search for comedy's Holy Grail continues in Dave and Tom's instead opting for a more deliberate and cerebral approach. Delightfully nostalgic yet unmistakably original, you''ll be glued to your screen as Dave and Tom take a look back on "this business of funny." From prehistoric pornography to poetic clowns on mountainsides, after watching Dave and Tom you''ll agree that history has never been this much fun. A spoof of BBC and Discovery Channel documentaries that promise to reveal a great mystery, this DVD is as one reviewer put it, "a silly journey through a world of scenarios... ranging from unfathomable science discoveries to absurd game shows, from sickly polite bank robberies to egomaniacal hat entertainers....their work achieves comedy on a level commensurate with Monty Python, Mr. Show and Little Britain, and highlights a sparkling sense of the off-color, rude and the importance of wacky nonsense. Always unexpected and always entertaining....."
The first in many small intro type videos for some of the regulars over on the Destructoid server. Tragic Hero wanted to do a remake of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. He is the blu scout.
Part 1 of a film written (with jokes and elements swiped from Monty Python) and directed (however unobvious there was any directing at all) by me for my English class.
Inconsistent, revolting voice acting and 'doddle' jokes aside, I was pleased with the outcome. The story parodies Arthur Miller's 'The Crucible' (albeit an abridged version) and attempts some Semitic satire rather poorly. And the 'premeditated improvisation' was the feel that I wanted, although it was only due to time constraints.
For those of you aware, yes, the story is purposely historically inaccurate.
NOW WITH VIDEO! Hilarious, rude, clever, crude, groundbreaking, mean, nasty, fun, silly, and oh, really funny -- The Monkey Box is the internet's best sketch comedy! If you're a fan of Monty Python, Saturday Night Live, Firesign Theater, Chappelle's Show, Mind of Mencia, or Mad TV, you'll dig The Monkey Box. NOT FOR KIDS OR MORE SENSITIVE LISTNERS! Powered by Wizzard Media (www.wizzard.tv).
It has been a little while since my last AMV, mostly due to lack of ideas and going to college for the first time. Now that I've settled in a bit and don't have any work to do at the moment, I decied to make a new video. On the way back to my dorm from class I was listening to my Zune and the Black Knight Skit for Monty Python and the Holy Grail come up, about that time I thought about Elfen Lied and I got an idea for this video. Sorry about the reuse of several scenes, in the episodes I used Lucy doesn't talk much and for Nana, I had to make sure the correct limbs didn't start appearing. Well I hope you enjoy it anyway. Comments are still always appreiciated. Thank you.
Scotland travel: Doune Castle, famous for it's use in the movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." Remember the scene where John Cleese plays the taunting French Guard? ("I'll fart in your general direction!") That was filmed here, and there are Monty Python reunions here every year. Plus, the biggest walk in fireplace of our trip! Doune Castle is about an hour drive from where we stayed at Dalhousie Castle, and about two hours from Culzean Castle. Real People having Real Fun! You can view this video & other travel videos in full screen near-DVD quality, slideshows & more, all with NO ADS, at jpmeyer.com. UK and France travel with von Essen Hotels, www.vonessenhotels.com and with Celtic Castles, www.CelticCastles.com.
A few years ago, an animator named Damian Surr posted a link on alt.fan.monty-python for fans to download a marvelous piece of animation he did of the Cheese Shop sketch as performed by two Douglas Adamsian characters generated entirely in CG. Damian intentionally had not watched the Cheese Shop sketch on TV, so his rendition features wonderfully fresh facial and body language, lending the sketch a new life.
A remake in Lego of the 'Camelot' musical number from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, This short was commisioned by John Goldstone for the special edition DVD release of the film.
