The Espon Stylus Photo R3000 is Epson's newest printer aimed at the prosumer photographer market and features the same 3 black level ink system as the R2400 and R2880. The R3000 doesn't replace the R2880 but does improve on it in a number of important ways. First of all the ink cartidges are more than twice the size and both the matt black and photo black cartridges remain in the printer at all times. Epson have also massively improved usability by adding a screen with step by step instructions and they've also added WiFi printing. For five days, several thousands of staff and students have immersed themselves in the experience of designing the Low Wong Fook Challenge Trophy. The trophy itself has evolved from a sphere to a multitude of permutations -- a clear testament to the power of the Prosumer and User Generated Content. On behalf of Principal Low, the Centre for Experience Design would like to thank everyone who has shared his or her midas touch in this experience.
