Sometimes tools are not objects, but in the way you set those objects up. In this movlog, we see how firemen keep their shoes laced only part-way up for ease of kicking off as they nearly jump into their prepared boots / pants combo stacked up on the floor.
Here are also some well-developed calves. Ah. Ladies? Guys are so cute when they're vain.
Loved being in and around the pure masculine energy of the firehouse.

POST NOTE: After some months experimentation with movolgging, pushing the limits, begin to see where the limits lie.
1) Keep the camera waaaaay close to the subject for sound. The phone will hear you the shooter 50% better than the person in front of the camera.
2) If the background noise is high, don't bother if sound is important unless your subject is shouting. And then you risk distortion.
3) Keep camera movement slow. Very slow.
4) Good light is imperative.

Our collective assessment of relationship advice / wisdom. Kevin and Matt put me up for a night of great vlogversation in Chi-town. Net/net: Curtis got a fire lit under his ass to travel to Node 101 Weekend in St. Louis and much to our collective delight, I popped Curtis' in-front-of-the-camera cherry. Exciting stuff.

Markus and I made this on the heels of Vloggercon and I thought it had gotten uploaded via the cell phone. Not so. Blimey.
Evidently, stacking up a few 3gp files to send via MMS to Blip is not a good idea. Beyond not getting through at all, if they do all get through using Blip's auto-post-to-vlog function for 3gp files, the 2nd or 3rd file doesn't make it to Blogger containing the image, so it lands with just a text link to the media.
Guess for now the thing to do is to only send one file at a time, waiting until the first file is posted before sending another file.
Here it is, finally. The Faux Press' promo for Vloggercon.

Found this at the Internet Archive , searching ' vloggercon '.
Don't think Dooser fed this through his site feed. Hope he doesn't mind I've shared it here; shared it because I want to echo his thoughts on the intensity of the connections we share.
"Free freedom." - Dooser
Dooser answered my Vloggercon call for clips on the subject of passion for the " Mashups and Remixing for Vloggers " panel. He answered the call in all probability because we met in person several times during Road Node 101 and filming " The Skeptic " in Saratoga Springs. He even invited me to Thanksgiving with his family .
Yes, the vlogosphere is a cult, an international network of creative geeks who inspire and fire each other up in remarkable, tangible ways.
