Taken from their last album, "Goodbye Blue Sky"
Here is the story behind their last album:
Goodbye Blue Sky is the seventh and final studio album by Godley & Creme. Released in 1988, the album generated two singles, "Little Piece of Heaven" and "10,000 Angels" as well as videos for those two singles.
The album featured backup vocals by three future members of 1990s dance band Londonbeat.
Making of[edit]
The album is notable through its use of harmonicas, which are used substantially on most tracks.
In a 1988 interview with Pulse! magazine, they said:
“ We also decided to use other musicians on the album for the first time ever, to get back to a real live band feel, and that's when we started auditioning harp players," adds Godley. "And to our surprise, we found that there's a huge range - everything from bass to treble - but that traditionally harmonicas are always played as solo instruments. They're never played in groups."
"So naturally we thought, 'Why not use a harmonica section?"' Creme continues. "And after auditioning a bunch of players, none of whom had ever played with another harp player, we finally selected two guys - Mark Felton (sic) and Mitt Gamon -and began laying down rhythm tracks at my home studio.
"Next, we brought in three black backup singers - George Chandler, Jimmy Helms and Jimmy Chambers - whom we'd met on the Paul Young video, and started building up the tracks. The interesting thing is that the more we got into the sounds, the more we began re-writing the songs to suit the singers or the harp players.

Continuing his epic cycle of Technoperas--patterned after Wagner's "Der Ring des Nibelungen" ('The Ring Cycle') -- Lee Negin launches his electric and eclectic new album, The Cheeze Chronicles: Volume V (Passing Phase Records) with an official release on June 20th, 2014. The material is a blend of Techo-funk-psychedelic-jazz-world-rock-ambient-electronica-experimenatal-social satire-irony-mysticism-prog-surrealism-dadaism-industrial-pop-metal-Musique concrete-Western Classical-impressionism, etc., Negin's usual musical milieu. "Hearing this artist's expertly produced work is to experience a vision aimed beyond the realm of pop. ...Negin never offers the same sound twice, employing singers as ensemble instruments and working with sounds in a way that reminds us at times of Brian Eno, Aphex Twin and Wendy Carlos." - Music Connection Magazine Album sonics are impeccable. Recorded and mixed in Negin's state-of-the-art studio in Seoul, the album was mastered by one of the preeminent mastering engineers in the world, Pete Maher in London. Pete has worked with U2, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Patti Smith, The Rolling Stones, etc. The album will be released as a limited edition CD, with cover art by a brilliant young Korean illustrator-cartoonist, Juyong Lee. "It is quite different from everything I've ever recorded or ever written. It's a bold statement to say, but I mean it in all good will so don't take it to seriously *laughs* Yeah I'm saying....it's like a way of saying you're cool, you're alright, you're tough. I'm not saying I'm like criminally bad! Of course, that's how people would take it...The short film is a true story we have taken from Time or NewsWeek magazine about this 17 year old kid who was from the ghetto and that went to school up state and tried to make something of his life. When he came back his friends became so jealous of him that they killed him. And he is a black kid like me and it's a sad story...Something like that is so negative and wrong. I think that's life, to wanna grow and become more, like you plant a seed and it grows into something beautiful and it never dies really.... I think people should be more that way." MICHAEL JACKSON, Ebony JET Interview, 1987 Michael's full music video for "Bad" is an 18-minute short film written by novelist and screenwriter Richard Price. The video was directed by Martin Scorsese during a period of 6 weeks in the fall of 1987. The video has many references to the 1961 film West Side Story, especially the "Cool" sequence. Not only does it show a street gang dancing in an urban setting, but there are also some parts of the choreography that were influenced by it. The choreographer [Gregg Burge] confirmed the influence, although they intended to do a more contemporary version of it. Assistant choreographer Jeffrey Daniel commented "It's like a train coming across the screen and that's the effect I was looking for and it worked" The music video to the song used an audio track different from the original album recording, using another instrumental organ solo in the middle of the song. This version hasn't been commercially released. The video premiered on primetime on the CBS Television Network, on August 31, 1987, on the primetime special Michael Jackson: The Magic Returns.

In Theze Streetz Online, a service provided by the In Theze Streetz (In These Streets) brand, is being developed as part of its aim to provide new and innovative marketing tools for up and coming artists. In Theze Streetz brand was originally created because of a need for change in Washington DC. For years very talented artists have faded away because of false promises, inexperienced promoters, a lack of music business knowledge, financial instability, and unaffordable advertisement. As a result, the In Theze Streetz brand created the In Theze Streetz DVD which evolved into a Bi-weekly DVD magazine as a way to connect, showcase and promote up and coming artists, in attaining their goals. This definition of an artist includes, but is not limited to: musicians, vocal performers, dancers, spoken word, painters, musical bands - and the list goes on. In Theze Streetz DVD was designed as a networking tool and information base that guides the underground art and entertainment world. For years, the In Theze Streetz brand has laid dormant, readjusting and upgrading to the new forms of technologies. In Theze Streetz Online is the first phase of reintroducing the brand back into the artist community. As with any free service, there are costs associated with them; and as a result, as with all media sources do the brand is funded through advertising and sponsorships. Only with the support of you, the artist, doing what you love and allowing us to assist you in showcasing it to the world, will keep this brand alive. Our ultimate goal is to create a unique network for artists all over the world to share feedback, network/collaborate and one day âÂÂBEâ heard and seen. Only with the support of you, the artist, doing what you love and allowing us to assist you in showcasing it to the world, will keep this brand alive. n 1970, college student/entrepreneur Joe Bryson bought Phil's Record Store, which sat in a shotgun location at W. 24th and Rio Grande Streets, and re-christened it Inner Sanctum Records, named after the 1940s radio show. The store would soon relocate to a large, old house at 504 W. 24th Street, just off "The Drag" (Guadalupe St.), near the University of Texas at Austin. This building also housed Aunt Sally's Bookstore, The Leather Bench and other businesses, as well as the offices of the political magazine The Texas Observer (when not running the store, Bryson would often visit the Observer offices in the presence of the late Molly Ivins and Kaye Northcott).
Bryson increasingly relied on fellow music aficionados to keep the business running. James "Cowboy" Cooper, Gary Barnes, "Big Al" Ragle, Richard Dorsett, Rick Moore, Kirby McDaniel and Linda Nozik ...
