This is the video I made that won me a Platinum Pass to Macworld Expo 2006 in San Francisco. I made this by myself with one camera, a tripod and a handheld remote control.
There are a lot of inside jokes so you may not get some of the subtle (and not so subtle) nuances. ;)

On Brief 512, we go back to Macworld where we talk about Savant, my favorite home automation system. We've talked about Savant a few times on GeekBrief.TV and did an interview on Geek Brief Radio, but Macworld was my first chance to see the gorgeous onscreen interface in person. Because the Savant system is built on top of OSX and uses Mac hardware, they take advantage of core animation and the result is a navigation system that looks really, really nice.
