Mr. Johnson sustained devastating injuries as a result of the impact. Drexel University Police and employees Reported that Mr. Johnson possessed a screwdriver and used it in an attempt to pry open locked doors to University buildings. Mr. Johnson was charged with attempted burglary. After the surveillance video was obtained by the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, all charges against Mr. Johnson were withdrawn. Mr. Johnson is now pursuing a civil rights case against Drexel University and its officers.
