Week Three... The Opulence still lingers. Darkness move onward while Light sputters in place. You can feel it now, hear it. The darkness echos back just as the light rung out. But who will answer the call and what does that mean for us?

"Come to Me" by France Joli with Tony Green is based on:
John 8:43-45
43 Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you
cannot bear to hear my word. 44 You are of your father the
devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a
murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the
truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks
out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me.
Isaiah 66:13
13 As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and
you will be comforted over Jerusalem.”
Jeremiah 31:13
13 Then young women will dance and be glad, young men and
old as well.
I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort
and joy instead of sorrow.
Isaiah 51:19
19 These double calamities have come upon you— who can
comfort you?—
ruin and destruction, famine and sword— who can[a] console
you?
Nahum 2:10
10 She is pillaged, plundered, stripped! Hearts melt, knees give
way, bodies tremble, every face grows pale.
Numbers 11:12
12 Did I conceive all these people? Did I give them birth? Why
do you tell me to carry them in my arms, as a nurse carries an
infant, to the land you promised on oath to their ancestors?
Ezekiel 13:20
20 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am
against your magic charms with which you ensnare people
like birds and I will tear them from your arms; I will set free
the people that you ensnare like birds.
John 21:15
Jesus Reinstates Peter
15 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter,
“Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”
“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”
John 21:16
16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.”
John 21:17
17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you
love me?”
Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do
you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know
that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.
Isaiah 43:4
4 Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because
I love you,
I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for
your life.

things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful
to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are
excellent and profitable for everyone.

Here's the story:
Look Hear? is the seventh studio album by 10cc, released in 1980. It reached No. 35 in the UK and No. 180 in the United States. The album, recorded at the band's Strawberry Studios South in Dorking, Surrey, was the first by 10cc since its 1976 split to include songs written by neither Graham Gouldman or Eric Stewart.
The cover art, created by Hipgnosis, underwent significant alteration for the album's U.S. release: the prominent display of the words "Are you normal" was replaced by a photo of a sheep relaxing on a beach, a similar image of which had appeared only as a small insert on the UK cover.
The album was their first for their new label in the U. S., Warner Bros. Records.
Two singles were lifted from the album: "One Two Five (edit)"/"Only Child" and "It Doesn't Matter at All"/"From Rochdale to Ocho Rios" (B-side changed to "Strange Lover" for U.S. release). Only "One Two Five" would be released in the U. S., and it would fail to chart.
Both Gouldman and Stewart would later express their disappointment with the album's lukewarm reception, but they would also acknowledge that their hearts might not have been in it. At the time of its making, Stewart was still recovering from an automobile accident that left him with blindness in one eye and temporary hearing loss in one ear. They also admit that the hiatus the band was forced to go into following Stewart's accident was the beginning of the end, and that musical tastes had shifted in the interim.

This is fantastic that you have this, Ian. How on earth did you get it - do you have a relative who worked on Swap Shop or something? Anyway thank you so much for posting this. I can clearly remember watching this when it was originally shown. I must admit I was a tad (heaps really) disappointed that Maggie didn't speak to the band ( I mean Eric!). But it was great to watch anyway, and I particularly remember the guys having their lunch on Brighton beach. Many many thanks.

INCONSEQUENCES. This soft, fluffy ballad was floated as the first single from "Look Hear?", and promptly disappeared from the airwaves. It's not an awful song, in the same vein as "People In Love" and "For You And I", both of which were a blanching of something that used to be so colourful. As I've mentioned elsewhere, 1980 was a turning point where bands were either looking ahead or looking back. "It Doesn't Matter at All" is guilty of being nostalgic at a time when '10cc' could (should?) have embraced 'new wave' like 'Alice Cooper' ("Flush the Fashion") and Paul McCartney ("McCartney II"). There's also a video of the band lip-synching to this, in which you can clearly make out Eric Stewart's "Dracula" teeth, proving that all pop music is made by undead vampires who keep recycling the same melodies every hundred years (and harvest the organs of drummers, but that's another story).

Knowing your love is my guide
You give me strength, you give me pride
It’s all I need, It’s all I need
Verse II:
Whispers I hear of your voice
Guides me to make the right choice
You give me strength, you give me pride
It’s all I need, It’s all I need

I pray to you
But do you hear, do you hear?
When I pray to you, do you hear?

This Scene is so oh exploitable that I had to hijack it. I make the sound-design as ridiculous as possible, while it still somehow fits. The sound-design is composed of many Doggie beats as you can hear. Make it sound like it's a school festival reserved to furries or something <.<
The Beginning
Just give me a reason to keep my heart beating Don't worry it's safe right here in my arms As the world falls apart around us All we can do is hold on hold on
Take my hand and bring me back
I'll risk everything if it's for you a whisper into the night Telling me it's not my time and don't give up I've never stood up before This timeでも 譲れないもの 握ったこの手は離さない
So Stand up stand up Just gotta keep it I wanna wake up wake up Just tell me how I can Never give up 狂おしいほど刹那の艶麗(えんれい)
Just tell me why baby They might call me crazy for saying I'll fight until there is no more 愁いを含んだ閃光眼光は感覚的衝動 Blinded I can't see the end so where do I begin
Say not a word I can hear you The silence between us なにもないように映ってるだけ I'll take this chance and I'll make it mine ただ隠せないもの 飾ったように見せかけてる
So Stand up stand up Just gotta keep it I wanna wake up wake up Just tell me how I can Never give up 悲しみと切なさの艶麗(えんれい)
Just give me a reason to keep my heart beating Don't worry it's safe right here in my arms くだけて泣いて咲いて散ったこの思いは so blinded I can't see the end
Look how far we've made it The pain I can't escape it このままじゃまだ終わらせる事は出来ないでし ょ 何度くたばりそうでも朽ち果てようとも 終わりはないさ so where do I begin 握りしめた 失わぬようにと・・・ 手を広げればこぼれ落ちそうで 失うものなどなかった日々の惰性を捨てて 君を・・・ Just tell me why baby They might call me crazy for saying I'll fight until there is no more 愁いを含んだ閃光眼光は感覚的衝動 Blinded I can't see the end
Look how far we've made it The pain I can't escape it このままじゃまだ終わらせる事は出来ないでし ょ 何度くたばりそうでも朽ち果てようとも 終わりはないさ It finally begins

One does not normally consider the 1957 Ford Ranchero to be a Muscle Car, but when you hear the story of this factory built supercharged 312 V8 powered 1 of 2 produced version, the name seems fitting! This Flame Red super truck is another example of the diversity of the Brothers Collection, and it stems from a year when Ford gave it's all to beat Chevy in sales and speed on the NASCAR track.
This week, we revisit the Brothers Collection 1969 Camaro ZL1 from Muscle Car Of The Week Episode 1, but this time, you get to hear the monstrous 427 come to life!

This is NOT a real soundtrack! It's arrangement of the Star Wars soundtracks as they might be heard in a Isard's Revenge movie. Listen to this music while you read the book, though I will admit it may not match up considering everyone reads at different speeds but you should get the general idea. The real track names are in parentheses. And I have started using some of the Isolated Score Music for my soundtracks so you might hear some sound effects, sorry about that.Enjoy!

LYRICS:
I wonder if you'll ever understand
Life is so perfect under your command
Send me a sign from the atmosphere
I'll take the oath forever
This i swear
To you
And if i fall
I thank you all
Its been a pleasure to turn you on
And i would be
So remiss
Lets seal the deal
With a Fatal Kiss
Cuz all around me
I feel like I have testified
Hear that sound, repeat that sound yeah
Cuz all around me
i feel like I've been hypnotized
I've been wondering what yah feel, what yah did
Cuz all around me 2x
I can testify
It seems like things have gotten out of hand
It might be time to make a final stand
Send me a sign from the atmosphere
I'll take the oath forever
This i swear
To you
And if i fall
I thank you all
Its been a pleasure to turn you on
And i would be
So remiss
Lets seal the deal
With a Fatal Kiss
Cuz all around me
I feel like I have testified
Burn it down yeah, hear that sound yeah

I Have a Dream, Op. 71 - for Orchestra, Chorus, and Speaker (midi version). I wrote this work in 1988 for a performance that didn't happen. It was eventually performed 12 years ago at Hartnell College in Salinas. In this work (where you'll hear me speaking) I used the second half of MLK's famous speech. I found the gospel he mentions called "Free at Last" and used it in the final chorus. I then combined that song with "We Shall Overcome".
