Hey, ladies, stick out your can. Here comes the garbage man! In Bradenton, Florida, he's one of the lowest-paid and hardest-working city employees, and hardly anybody pays any attention to him or gives him props for doing good work. So this video is my personal tribute to Bradenton's Solid Waste Department -- a great bunch of folks who deserve lots more recognition than they get.
There are around 1,600 mosques in Britain. Well over half do not allow women access to worship and hardly any allow women a say on how the mosques are managed and run. Journalist Tazeen Ahmad follows a group of young Muslim women from the Muslim Public Affairs Committee (MPACUK) who are waging a determined campaign to force these mosques to open up. Dispatches documentary, aired: 30th October 2006.
Monika Sprüth and Philomene Magers present “Mondi Possibili”. On display are furniture and objects by Richard Artschwager, Benjamin Bergmann, Thomas Demand, Thea Djordjadze, Peter Fischli / David Weiss, Claus Föttinger, Stefan Kern, Frances Scholz, Andreas Schulze, Franz West, and Martin Wöhrl. “The works on display deal with the subject of furniture from a variety of angles: as citation, as homage, as adaptation, or as copy. Others are usable objects that hardly differ from their reference objects in the domain of design or furniture.” (PR Sprüth Magers). The exhibition is part of “Passagen”, the supporting programme of the International Furniture Fair in Cologne. Mondi Possibili (January 15 - March 17, 2007), Monika Sprüth Philomene Magers, Cologne. HI RES VERSION. Charles Bronson's last film? Hardly. Join comedy actor Peter Slater for this thrilling [spoof] trailer from the greatest unmade film never to come out of Britain. Directed by Mark Howard
i hardly have any videos of my performances mainly because we didnt have a camcorder until a few years back and my folks cant use them :S...but i was lucky to have a few so i create a collage to music from my fav film
This my final piece for my 1st year...it was only me and a friend working on it...unfortunately my mate ended up taking up too many commitments and hardly did anywork which is why its not how its suppose ot be...i ended up doing all the voiceovers, editing, music and most of the set building, shooting and lighting...
Its shot mostly on 16mm then we videoed the projection so i could edit it with the digital work...
Michael Jackson's entire music video "Thriller" done completely in Lego and clay.
Includes not only the song, but all non-musical scenes as well.
The resolution is horrible, but it is the best I could find where the video wasn't glitchy in several other ways (all of them had bad resolution anyway).
Not bad overall, but hardly worth the 13+ minutes to watch it.
Sunny, Hot, grey,Wet,
Thats what we get in this country.
Heatwave? 1 day of redhot sunshine and its a national heatwave and a crisis hits the water authotities.
The truth is our summer really only lasts 3 months that is july through September, by the time November comes we can hardly remember what it was like to walk outside without wearing a coat.
This is a typical Summers day in Britain and a great excuse to play some good music.
this is the edit version
PANORAMA EPHEMERA (2004, 89:35 min., color and black and white), compiled by Rick Prelinger (http://www.prelinger.com/) from his own Prelinger Collection, is a collage of sequences drawn from a wide variety of ephemeral (industrial, advertising, educational and amateur) films, touring the conflicted landscapes of twentieth-century America. The films' often-skewed visions construct an American history filled with horror and hope, unreeling in familiar and unexpected ways.
The film focuses on familiar and mythical activities and images in America (1626-1978). Many creatures and substances that we hardly notice because we feel so used to them take center stage, including pigs, corn, water, telephones, fire, and rice. At first resembling a compilation, it soon reveals itself as a journey through the American landscape over time, and the story begins to emerge between the sequences.
The film consists of 64 self-contained film sequences ranging from 5 seconds to 4 minutes in length arranged into a narrative. Unlike many films made using archival footage, it's primarily a combination of sequences rather than a collage of individual shots.
PANORAMA EPHEMERA is populated by American children, animals, farmers, industrial workers, superheroes, pioneers heading West, crash test dummies, and many others.

Popeye and Bluto are, believe it or not, pals and partners in a moving company. (Maybe it's because Popeye isn't squinting here.) Anyhow, Olive has made the mistake of hiring them. She hasn't finished packing yet, so the boys, smitten as soon as she answers the door, compete to help her. Once packed, they compete to move more impressive piles of her belongings. Popeye easily wins these contests, even though Bluto locks him in the van at one point. At the end, Bluto socks Popeye into the piano, then into a table; though he hardly seems to need it, Popeye still eats his spinach, then thrashes Bluto.
