Even clowns need ideals and traditions to hold their community together. Last Sunday was the fiftieth anniversary of the Joseph Grimaldi Memorial Service at the Holy Trinity in Dalston. The clowns united, regardless of religious convictions, in full garb, to pay homage to the father of modern clowning, Joey Grimaldi. We put on our most foolish shoes and went down to document events.

The Dungeon of Crest (Drôme) is the highest tower in all of France, at an impressive 170 feet high.
