Filmmaker Colin M. Day spent almost every day with Australia's top street art talent during their visit to San Francisco in September of 2011. In preparation for "Young and Free", a never before assembled dream team of Aussie artists bombed the city streets for their exhibition at 941 Geary gallery. Colin dived into the action, no matter the time of day or night, and has brought us a short film that catalogues this important moment in art history.

Silicon Valley Technology, Art, Green & Sustainability talk show with host and Executive Producer Heather Durham. Episode guest is artist and filmmaker Michael Killen. He also produces and hosts a weekly television program cablecast in Silicon Valley called Michael Killen & Sustainability (formerly The Killen Report). He has conducted almost 500 executive interviews. Killen, who has lived in Palo Alto for 26 years, has painted works such as, “Climate Change for the Wealthy,” “Climate Change for the Rest of Us,” “The Ark,” “Beginning After the End” and “Liberty Fused to Coal and Oil.” He has also created the ‘Climate Change’ Art Exhibition to help people realize what researchers have been telling us for years—the climate is changing faster and faster, and we need to take action now to keep it from going so fast that we are driven off this spinning planet.” His paintings reflect the interviews he is taping with leading climate scientists, educators, entrepreneurs and decision makers. The artwork and the interviews are the basis of the work-in-progress “Painting to Change the World“ documentary. This innovative film combines skillful interviews with climate and energy leaders while translating their insights into a series of extraordinary paintings. The project is dedicated to a keystone voice in the film, world-acclaimed climate scientist Stephen H. Schneider, PhD, who passed away on July 19, 2010.

A long-term exhibition at the Walt Disney World Resort® allows visitors to understand the tiny world of nanotechnology through hands-on experiments that use microscopes to reveal exciting images invisible to the naked eye.
Housed at INNOVENTIONS at Epcot®, the exhibit Take a Nanooze Break features a series of interactive, continually updated displays that allow visitors to manipulate models of molecules, study everyday items at the nanoscale, and interact with scientists and engineers who conduct the latest nanotechnology research.
In the interactive Zoom experience shown in our video, you can see deep inside a butterfly wing; when you zoom in and out, you can see the butterflyâs wing magnified more than one million times, showing its underlying structure at the nanoscale.
"The experience is immersive and gives visitors a number of ways to view a world that is too small to see," says Carl Batt of Cornell University, the lead researcher for the exhibit. "It also gives visitors the chance to see the ...

One of the many events that took place at C2E3 in Chicago were Quidditch matches put on by the International Quidditch Association. Muggles could both watch exhibition matches, and also take place in lessons and beginner games.
KP and Todd were lucky enough to get in on the action and join Indiana State University and the University of Michigan on the Quidditch pitch. The experience wouldn't be complete without a chat with Max Kaplan, Social Media Director for the I.Q.A about the various changes and growing popularity of Quidditch as a collegiate sport.

Pinky's insomnia has recently been certered around questions of class treason: What happens when we do so many things in our lives 'automatically'? What can we really do to make this world better? And what would we have to give up or risk in order to achieve it? (This video is part of the Class Treason Stories (excerpts) exhibition.)
Pinky, Bunny, and Daisy visited Slovenia to participate in a series of debates plus an art exhibition on radical education. What did they do? What did they talk about? What did they eat?
