Rajiv (Rishi Kapoor) comes from a wealthy land-owning family, and lives in a palatial home with his mother (Sushma Seth), who would like him to get married to a beautiful young woman named Vijaya Singh, the only daughter of Thakur Ajay Singh (Prem Chopra). Rajiv, however, is in love with Rajni (Sridevi), who is an orphan without connections. When Rajiv informs his mother of his intent to marry Rajni, she refuses to give her blessings, but relents after a favourable meeting with Rajni. The marriage is arranged and they enjoy their marriage - until the arrival of Bhairo Nath (Amrish Puri), a sadhu capable of controlling snakes. He informs Rajiv's mother that Rajni is a shape-shifting venomous snake who has married Rajiv to avenge the death of her spouse during Rajiv's childhood. To remove her from the household, Bhairo and his disciples do a snake dance song, forcing Rajni to dance for them as she is a snake. However, when Rajiv comes into the house, Rajni escapes, only to be caught by Bhairo, who reveals his plot, to control the world with the Mani, a sacred jewel that only Rajni knows is hidden. However, Rajiv comes and engages in a fight with Bhairo. Bhairo is bitten by two snakes and dies. Rajiv and Rajni live happily ever after.

Geneva/Muzaffarabad, PoK, September 23, 2014: Speaking at the recently held event at the United Nations in Geneva, observers and activists focused on the deteriorating security situation and attacks on minorities in Pakistan. The event titled 'the Human Rights in South Asia' also raised the issue of human rights violations in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir or PoK and Gilgit Baltistan. Civil society activists, human rights defenders and academicians stressed on Pakistan's move of exploiting the remote region's rich natural resources, apart from curbing the political autonomy. Kashmiri leaders blamed Pakistan for allegedly controlling the region through a proxy government and its secret agencies which have a stranglehold over every aspect of both PoK and Gilgit Baltistan. Kashmiri also accused Pakistan's spy agencies for suppressing the national movement through enforced disappearances and targetted killings.
Brazilian jiu jitsu is traditionally practiced in the gi. A gi is a uniform that enables students to practice choking and controlling each other with articles of clothing. It is much more sturdy than your average hoodie or t-shirt and is designed for performance.
To illustrate ephemeralness, the video goes through some of the important events that occurred in the history of the Universe.
Ephemeral: a small piano sonata composed by Ziryeb (www.ziryeb.com), to the memory of Naima Tama, a family friend, who died in her late thirties by a sudden heart attack. The piece was played on the piano and recorded as it is while being composed on the fly.
When the piece was played (and composed at the same time), the thought that was inspiring the piece was thinking about the ephemeral nature of things. Everything in the Universe changes, dies, etc... Nothing stays the same ever. Sometimes, it is a frightening thought that ephemeralness is controlling the whole Universe, not just us. Even if we can live for eternity, the Universe does not seem to have a bright and eternal future. The Universe is expanding at an accelerating rate. Either this acceleration will continue forever (in which case a big rip will destroy everything in the Universe), or the Universe starts shrinking back towards a big crunch. If the Universe stops expanding and remains still, that would be an ideal situation, except that the Universe will eventually run out of matter (the stars will run out of their Hydrogen fuel, and all Hydrogen in the Universe may eventually run out as well, and there is no future in that). The only guarantee of an eternal Universe (like an eternal paradise for example, as described in the monotheist religions), would be the intervention of God, the creator of everything. Only God can stop the expansion of the Universe from destroying everything, and make sure matter does not run out in the Universe if we want the Universe to be eternal.
It's amazing if you try to talk about this with any religious person in America, they will block this out and will not even consider it or investigate the facts themselves.
