http://www.bkwine.com/wine_tours/wine_tours.htm --- Interview with Jarkko Peranen winemaker at Cantina Candialle. He owns the winery together with Josephin Cramer. Jarkko comes originally from Finland and Josephin from Germany. They have been running the Candialle vineyard since the early 2000s.
The vineyard is located in Tuscany in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, near the Panzano village. The vineyard covers six hectares of vines, primarily sangiovese, but also some merlot, syrah and petit verdot. Jarkko makes three wines: one wine based on Merlot called Ciclope, Cyclops, the one-eyed. It is a blend including some sangiovese and syrah. A very fresh fruity, easy drinking wine. They also have one IGT wine called Pli, which is their top quality cru wine, and a Chianti Classico Candialle.

The Chianti Wine journals bring a bit of the Tuscany’s beauty to our shores. For centuries, Italians have been perfecting the art of making fine crafts. These journals let the tasters neatly record the wine they’ve enjoyed and their impressions, with whom they had it, vintage, origin, and, of course an area for the steamed off label. Handcrafted in Italy. Thanks for watching our video and have a great day!
