In 1966 I did the worst possible thing a young woman could do... I became pregnant and was not married. I went into hiding for five months and delivered a beautiful baby girl on June 1, 1966. With my heart and soul shrieking in pain, I surrendered my baby for adoption, whispering to her to come back and find me someday.
Shar's Story is my adoption/reunion journey, beginning with that horrific experience losing her, and culminating in her choice to find me and create an incredibly joyful reunion for both our families. The 'story within the story'describes the path I took from shame and disgrace to forgiveness and love. Coincidences abound in this book!

Trailer: This is an interesting, simple animation about a car driving across America. It travels through the cities of the East Coast, including New York City and Washington D.C. The automobile crosses the Washington monument and then drives across the farmlands of the Midwestern United States. After touring through the mountains of Colorado, it moves on to California, where it crosses the Golden Gate Bridge. The film ends with the car crossing the beach and ending its journey at the ocean.
High on the side of a mountain over looking the Valley of Lhasa, Tibet, I met 2 young men. Like me they had hiked up for hours to reach this beautiful vantage point. The purpose of their journey was to offer prayers to god, the prayers were written in Tibetan script on colourful squares of tiny paper and included a caricature of Buddha. They rejoiced in the simple act of releasing the prayers into the wind. A touching moment and a treasured memory of my time in Tibet.
The Summer In The City journey continues where we left off at the end of the previous episode, Camden Lock.
We now take the canal path from the lock (where narrow-boats ascend or descend between two different sections of the canal) walking towards Regents Park. The canal is a peaceful, idyllic, 'hidden' London that few tourists know about.
Half way through the episode we arrive at the north entrance to Regents Park and walk south through some beautiful floral gardens and fountains.
Finally we end up exiting Regents Park at its southern perimeter and cross Marylebone Road into Park Crescent. As this episode concludes there is a sense that this peaceful part of the journey is about to end...

A beautiful archival clip of Floyd rehearsing for a gig at the Queen Elizabeth Festival Hall in 1969. Comprises of material that would eventually surface on Ummagumma, the soundtrack album, More and the early Pink Floyd comp Relics from 1971, this is apparently the Floyd's first concept peice that was played around the latter part of 1969 and at the start of 1970. There are moments with no sound, and at just over two and half minutes before the end, an argument develops between the cameraman Anthony Stern and the Festival Hall management, the scene becoming just audio with no picture, a very interesting document. Black and White footage.
This video is the latest in a series of travel show's Called Destination Unknown, hosted by Michael Murphy . This Journey finds us in Nothern Europe ,Sailing aboard one of the most beautiful sailing ship in the world The Sea cloud II
"Field Trip: West Siberia" is a 55-minute long movie which follows a group of ornithologists as they travel from the South to the North of West Siberia. Filled with colorful images taken all throughout the journey through this inhospitable, yet beautiful land, the film talks about the hardships faced by the travelers, explores various animal species encountered along the way, and offers a unique glimpse into the very soul of Russia. The film is in Russian, with English subtitles, and is Hanawey Studios' first work oriented at Western viewers. It is distributed free for non-profit and non-commercial viewing in order to generate publicity and hopefully funding.
