Rajesh Tripathi (Avinash Wadhawan) lives a poor lifestyle in a village in India along with his widower dad, Shivshankar. He leaves his father so that he can study in Bombay. While there, he becomes a fan of singer and dancer, Neha (Divya Bharti), and even paints hoardings for her shows. During the holidays, he returns home to his village and gets a surprise when he finds that Neha has also re-located there. His overtures to become friendly with her end up in getting the police involved for alleged molestation. After clearing his name, Neha then entraps him to accompany her to an isolated shack and locks him there, which almost kills him. After this incident, Neha does accept his friendship and confides in him that she can never sing as she has been poisoned by her former manager, Hari Saxena (Shakti Kapoor), so much so that her vocal cords have been damaged beyond repair. Rajesh accepts the challenge and sets about to resurrect Neha's voice and her career - not knowing that both of them may end up being targets of Hari - who has planned a devious ending for Neha and anyone who supports her. Avinash Wadhavan... Rajesh "Raja" S. Tripathi Divya Bharti... Neha Laxmikant Berde... Pandey Anil Dhawan... Doctor Shakti Kapoor... Hari Saxena Producer: Neelima Paul

Where does our water supply come from? What is our water allowance? How much water do each of us use in a day? How do the two figures compare? And how is our waste water disposed? As urban Indians, we can be rather clueless about how we use and dispose of the water coming through our taps. This is a luxury; perhaps one we will not be able to exercise for long. Meet Avinash Krishnamurthy, an expert in Sustainable Water Solutions and the CEO at Biome Solutions. He offers us an insight using the example of Bangalore and what's happened with this city's water supply over the decades. He also talks about what needs changing and shares simple ways in which you and I can help.
Story: When dancer Nagavalli's spirit haunts a family and causes mysterious deaths, it's time for tantrik Acharya and Dr Vijay to get to the bottom of things
Movie Review: This is the 200th, and sadly, the last movie of Vishnuvardhan. Yet, it's a masterpiece by director P Vasu. With a brilliant script, screenplay, excellent narration and apt sequences, Vasu presents the sequel of Aptha Mithra in a phenomenal manner, commendably weaving drama, romance and action. All this makes for a riveting experience. Nagavalli (Vimala Raman) returns here too, and then there's Avinash, who carries the story on his shoulders through his role as a tantrik. However, Vishnuvardhan towers over others, giving a smooth, lively and powerful performance. Be it a Dr Vijay or Vijayarajendra Bahadur, the `Sahasa Simha' gave his heart and soul to the roles.
The story revolves around a family haunted by Nagavalli's spirit. A painting of hers seems to cause mysterious deaths in the family headed by Srinivasamurthy and Vinaya Prakash. How do tantrik Ramachandra Acharya (Avinash) and Dr Vijay (Vishnuvardhan) ward off the evil? Who in the family is haunted by Nagavalli's spirit? The climax is memorable.
Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Vimala Raman, Sandhya and Bhavana deserve special mention for their lively performances. Ramesh Bhat gives a comic touch to his role. Komal impresses. Avinash is amazing as the tantrik with his excellent dialogue delivery. Hats off to P K H Das for brilliant camerawork. Music by Gurukiran is melodious.
