Roshni (Sridevi) is the only child of Sharda Chhadha (Reema Lagoo). Her father, Prakash Chhadha (Anupam Kher), left before she was born and she has no knowledge of where he went. Roshni is introduced to Rahul Malhotra (Rahul Roy) and they share a mutual attraction. When he learns that she is an aspiring singer, he assists in her career so she becomes popular. She has a devoted fan named Jaggannath alias Jaggu (Sanjay Dutt), who is a petty thief. He is in love with her but she rejects him. During a trip she and Rahul had taken to Hong Kong, she is arrested for trafficking cocaine and Rahul disappears. Jaggu brings an attorney, but she is quickly found guilty and sentenced to death. Jaggu visits the prison and runs afoul of two guards, themselves lovers, who beat him in front of Roshni. The attorney works to help them escape. A fight ensues between Roshni and the female guard in which the latter is killed. The warden intervenes and is killed by Jaggu, they escape and return to India. At the airport Prakash is questioned by the police and Roshni learns that he is her father, and that he had fled the country years earlier when he has been wrongfully accused of treason. Later at Rahul's house, Rahul admits that he had been dealing with drugs that resulted in Roshni's arrest. She slaps him for deceiving her and ends their relationship. With Prakash's blessings, Roshni and Jaggu get married. The Great Dictator (Diktator Agung) merupakan sebuah film epik hitam-putih pada tanggal 15 Oktober 1940. Dirilis ketika Perang Dunia Kedua mulai berkecamuk dan ketika Adolf Hitler sendiri sedang meniti jalan untuk mencapai puncak kejayaannya, The Great Dictator sukses memparodikan peristiwa tersebut. Plesetan-plesetan pun digunakan di dalamnya: Adenoid Hynkel untuk Adolf Hitler, negara Tomainia untuk Jerman, lambang tanda silang dobel yang menggantikan lambang swastika Nazi, Benzino Napaloni untuk Benito Mussolini, dan lain sebagainya. Parodi yang digunakan Chaplin tidaklah parodi yang bersifat kasar atau asal melucu, melainkan parodi yang memiliki kelasnya tersendiri alias elegan. Charlie Chaplin memerankan tokoh rekaan Adolf Hitler, sang diktator fasis yang kejam. Di dalam plot cerita pula, Chaplin juga sekaligus memerankan seorang tukang cukur keturunan Yahudi, merepresentasikan wajah rakyat jelata yang lugu. Karakteristik keduanya yang sangat kontras ini dilibatkan ke dalam satu alur cerita dengan kisahnya masing-masing. Lihatlah parodinya: saat Hynkel yang bertindak semaunya sendiri dengan memberangus orang-orang Yahudi dan sangat ambisius untuk menguasai seluruh dunia, namun berubah menjadi pribadi yang tampak bodoh dan konyol, yaitu saat adegan Hynkel bermain-main sendiri dengan bola dunia, atau adegan saat Hynkel berpidato dalam bahasa Jerman yang “sangat Hitler”. Atau ketika si tukang cukur yang mencukur tuannya (sekaligus menari) sambil mengikuti irama musik Hungarian Dance No. 5 karya Johannes Brahms. Melihat adegan-adegan tersebut, rasanya di zaman sekarang pun masih relevan parodi-parodi tersebut. Membuktikan bahwa parodi dalam The Great Dictator merupakan parodi yang memang berkelas.

Mando beatboxt seit mehr als 10 Jahren, und das fast jeden Tag. Er kann mit seinem Mund nicht nur Rhythmen herstellen, sondern auch über 200 Geräusche imitieren. Gemeinsam mit dem Beatboxer Mastee alias Dennis Weil leitet Mando die Beatbox Academy in Berlin. Von Mastee erfährt Karen, dass Beatboxen Teil der HipHop-Kultur ist, die sich in den 80er Jahren in den USA entwickelt hat. Zum HipHop gehören neben Beatboxen noch das Rappen, Breakdancen, DJing und Graffiti. Schließlich lernt Karen noch Wetlipz alias Kyrill Sieg und Chlorophil alias Philippe Zeidler kennen, die für Deutschland bei der Beatbox-Team-Weltmeisterschaft antreten. Das kann Karen nicht entmutigen, gegen Mando in einem richtigen Beatbox-Battle anzutreten.

„Simsalabim!", heute geht es um Zauberei. Ihr Lehrer, der Tierzauberer Markus Götz alias Zyculus, lässt vor Karens Augen Flaschen verschwinden, zaubert Kaninchen aus dem Hut und verwandelt Tauben in Hunde. Von Zyculus lernt Karen, dass es bei Zauberei vor allem auf die Fingerfertigkeit ankommt. Und Zyculus ist wahnsinnig schnell. So schnell, dass Karen oft nur verblüfft ist und keine Ahnung hat, wie er das macht. Nicht alle Tricks darf er ihr nämlich erklären, der Ehrenkodex der Zauberer verbietet das. Sie fährt deshalb ins schwäbische Abtsgmünd in das Museum für optische Illusionen von Prof. Dr. Bernd Lingelbach. Was sie da sieht, kann sie kaum glauben: Räume, in denen man schrumpft, wenn man sich in ein Eck bewegt. Stühle, auf denen man plötzlich nur noch halb so groß ist. Papp-Drachen, die ihr ständig hinterher schauen, egal wohin sie geht. Und das Beste: all das kann Bernd Lingelbach ihr erklären!

Lighting it the night of 24 and 25 December, they give us a unique and very beautiful view. The Christmas Star plunges in the dark, looking really suspended in the sky. Consisting of 1200 meters of electrical cable and 166 energy saving light bulbs, the star goes up to a length of 360 meters. It is the longest suspended comet in Italy and certainly among the longest in Europe. The Group is led by a strong spirit of unity and sharing and for these people repeat this event annually has become a deeply felt tradition.
