When viewing through competitive copying glasses, the two colors picked here symbolize two sides, sometimes two equal sides & sometimes one is higher than the other and we gotta side with the lower one to one-up the higher one. Starting with the basic red vs blue which is in a lot of fandoms, and pink vs (light) blue too to a certain extent.
Believe it or not, this video was recorded LAST YEAR, when I still used that Scarlett shampoo & conditioner pair. That's how long it took me to finally get motivation to make the soundtrack cuz I need at least a new background music to differentiate from Rest Assured. It was fun dressing in half&half & wearing half&half makeup though.

For those who are unaware, Nixon the CD-ROM was released in 1996 by Graphix Zone to serve as an enhanced CD version of the soundtrack of the film "Nixon" (1995). Alongside hosting a whole bunch of archival documents, one of the features of the CD-ROM is that Deputy Assistant to the President, Alexander Butterfield, narrates sections of it. Although Windows 10 refuses to play the CD-ROM, I was able to operate the CD-ROM on my end using both Internet Archive's Windows 95 Virtual Disk Image file and Oracle's VirtualBox.
Since this CD-ROM is all but inaccessible nowadays to the average computer user, this video serves as an archival video for the narration Deputy Assistant Butterfield provides. Aside from the opening narration and the Menu Icon narration, I changed the order of the rooms to one that flows from the President's offices, to the Tape Room, to the Selected Offices of his Subordinates, to the General Rooms. I intentionally placed the Situation Room last since its narration was not immediately accessible on the CD-ROM.

Marc Lowe is an infamous and not famous fake musician who makes noise nobody can stand to listen to in the Tokyo slums. Yet, somehow, this unathletic hoser with a gigantic nose was recommended by the great Bruce Lee. If Prickly can get Hollywood funding, he will make this film. Not sure who he will cast to play Marc Lowe in the unlikely event Marc turns down the role of a lifetime in what could be his only shot at legitimate fame. The soundtrack will feature NOT Marc Lowe and therefore should kick ass!

Earlier this year I was kinda curious about how a PATD song would sound like as a DDLC soundtrack, soooo this happens.
Well actually I blame the "the ink flows down into a dark puddle" part, reminding me of "the ink is running toward the page" in Northern Downpour. That gave me the idea for this mash-up cover.
This time I had to repeatedly listen to both songs WHILE in the process of making this cover, trying to get the notes right. It's still harder to control my voice & breathing though, plus I just recovered from a cold so that explains the slight phlegminess. The video accidentally got cut off in the first part, cuz halfway through drawing the iPad ran out of battery, & Procreate failed to save everything from the beginning.
