This video is a collage of pictures, the marijuana documentary, and other fascinating original works & mini clips put over some classic weed smoking anthems and other appropriate songs for this subject. I give all credit and praise to pretty much all material presented in which i hope the owners of such content condone this unauthorized usage of their work for non-profit educational purposes. That definitely goes for the musicians' content, which I used as well!! This was meant to include a variety of sources because we all have the same cause, I just wanted to put my spin on it and see if people are moved by this different approach of educating and informing while keeping it unique and entertaining.. he fight against drug use in America has been going on since the turn of the last century but the term War on Drugs only became part of our national dialog in 1970 when it was first used by President Richard Nixon. The President later formed the DEA and started a push to outlaw drugs of all kinds. Among the most discussed drugs in this war is Marijuana. This special will look at the storied and strange history of Marijuana in America. Probably one of the better documentaries, mostly seems pro-cannabis and by far the most pro-cannabis documentary thus far released by the History Channel. The documentary attempts to educate everyone who still has a Reefer Madness mindset, who still thinks cannabis prohibition is reasonable, and who have no idea that widespread cannabis use is relatively harmless compared to alcohol, tobacco, and especially pharmaceutical and other drugs.

Drug Addiction is a scare tactics video which attempts to illustrate the dangers of marijuana as a gateway drug for callow youths such as the main character, Marty, who we see spiral down from one hit of reefer to heroin and jail time. Slippery slope arguments follow a litany on the dangers of marijuana and the bad side effects of marijuana. Featuring great shots of Chicago’s Juvenile Protection Association, this film captures stoners and drug addicts drinking from broken Pepsi bottles, buying drugs on the street, stealing from family members, and sitting in court for their crimes. Marty is eventually jailed, then rehabbed and reformed to his previous “good boy” status through hard physical labor and playing checkers with his fellow ex-addicts. This retro movie that contains hilariously dated marijuana facts and opinions on smoking weed. The physical effects of marijuana particularly emphasized.

Propaganda film that relates the story, as told by high school principal Dr. Carroll to parents at a PTA meeting, of the scourge of marijuana. The tale revolves around Mae and Jack, accomplices in the distribution of marijuana, who manage to entice the local high school kids to stop by Mae's apartment to smoke reefer. The lives of all who are involved with this menace are inevitably shattered. One man becomes so addicted to the killer weed that the guilt over framing a teen for murder causes a judge to order him to be committed for life to a mental hospital! Billy & Mary are 2 suburban kids on there way to "higher learning" This was a movie that was supposed to have shown you the "evils" of marijuana, reefer, the pot, boo. Boo ? Instead this movie wound up being a promotion of pot. Using sex, cigarettes and booze to show how bad pot is, this movie is hypocritical of the fact. It is the most hysterical drug film ever made making it a cult classic. Also in this episode; The History Of Marijuana, Harry Pothead & The Magical Herb and a World Debut of Hippy Timms song "Chocolate, Taquila & Weed". Rated PG 13

A prime example of the exploitation film that is now considered high-comedy (pun intended.) The film was rumored to have been funded by the US Government but, alas, it's origins are far more banal - the producers wanted to skirt the Motion Picture Code of Ethics (which prevents on screen portrayals of drug use) and hence adopted an instructive form.
