Deshalb müssen die vier handeln: Sie tauchen in die Welt der 16- und 17-Jährigen ein und sehen sich mit Gothics, Punks und Supercoolen konfrontiert. Die Kinder finden alle Gruppen gleich durchgeknallt, doch dass überall derselbe Spruch fällt, macht sie misstrauisch. Vielleicht finden sie hier die Spur der Drogendealer.

On our 28th episode, we review the Gang of Four's high octane Letterman performance of "Never Pay for the Farm", from their latest album "Content". The history of these politicized Leeds post-punks is a fascinating one, a musical journey that began with their seminal 1979 release "Entertainment!". We play a snippet of "Damaged Goods" from that hugely influential record, one that was recorded at New York's Hurrah's nightclub on New Year's Eve 1980, followed by the classic "To Hell With Poverty" from the Old Grey Whistle Test 14 months later. The band's sound had evolved considerably over that time, and took a further radical turn for their next release "Songs of the Free" which features the eminently danceable "I Love A Man In Uniform". We end our Gang of Four overview with the forceful "At Home He's A Tourist" recorded for Later with Jools Holland in September 2009. Oktober 1987. Ueberfall auf die Ostberliner Zionskirche. Die Westberliner Band "Element of Crime" gibt ein Konzert. Danach kommen Skinheads auf das Gelaende, versuchen das Gotteshaus zu stuermen, schlagen auf junge Frauen und Maenner ein. "Juden raus aus deutschen Kirchen!", "Kommunistenschweine!" und "Sieg heil!" bruellen die "Glatzen". Der RIAS meldet: "Neonazis in der DDR.". Die sozialistische Presse ignoriert zunaechst den Vorfall, verharmlost ihn spaeter und schiebt alles auf westliche Einfluesse. Mit dieser Propaganda kommen Partei- und Staatsfuehrung nicht weit. Laengst werden Fragen laut. Warum sind am Abend des Uebergriffes weder Staatssicherheit noch Volkspolizei eingeschritten? Wieso konnte dieser Gewaltausbruch ueberhaupt geschehen?. Der Prozess gegen die Angreifer auf die Zionskirche foerdert neue Ungereimtheiten zutage. Die DDR weigert sich als "antifaschistischer Staat", die wahren Ursachen rechtsradikaler Erscheinungen zu hinterfragen. Weil nicht sein kann, was nicht sein darf.. Der Film blickt zurueck bis in die Anfaenge der DDR. Wie wurde mit deutscher Vergangenheit, mit Faschismus in den vierzig Jahren der SED-Diktatur umgegangen?. In den fruehen 80er Jahren bildeten sich verschiedene subkulturelle Stroemungen unter Jugendlichen heraus, die in klarer Opposition zum sozialistischen Staat standen. Waren es anfaenglich eher linke Gruppierungen, wie Punks, gruendeten Jugendliche Mitte der 80er Jahre ihre oppositionelle Haltung zunehmend auf Nationalismus. Diese Haltung war fuer viele Jugendliche die staerkste Form der Opposition gegenueber den Machthabern. Ob nun selbst reflektiert oder eher aus Mitlaeufertum, die rechten Skinheads machten Ende der 80er Jahre aus ihrer politischen Anschauung keinen Hehl. Die DDR ignorierte die innenpolitische Situation.. In der Dokumentation kommen Konzertbesucher, Historiker, Kirchenvertreter und Taeter des Ueberfalls auf die Zionskirche zu Wort
