This one builds up for a few minutes, drops you into a flat for a couple of minutes (3 through 5 and a half approx), then returns the symphony to lift you again at the end. Don't give up halfway through..its designed to be like this. I pull away and let you drop through the valley in the middle, stay with it though, you have to stay with it to get the big uplift. :) Pay attention to the vocals! i suppose you could lay back its pretty chill if you want too... The vocals really help move you through the mix stages though.
Usually there's some backstory and development to the mixes I release. This one not so much. I sat down, found two tracks from different years in different folders that I then noticed were from the same artist, threw them onto the decks noticing some similarities in the bpm and other parts. Played the club intro and hit record 'just in case' and completely loved what came out. Captured my thoughts and emotions perfectly. ...

Welcome to an old track reworked significantly for 2013 February release! Best in 720p and has some nice shots from around the world as background art throughout the mix.
This remix took a substantial amount of time due to the complexity of the source track layering and also the unique off-beat offset required to time the original release vocals against Faux's dubstep bassline. I also took the opportunity to bump the bpm a bit with the key locked, and have also used the KORG to place a number of effects throughout. Combining 3 of the releases of this track to update it to sound fresh for 2013 was fun but I have to say the final edit of the track just took weeks since so many times I laid it down it would sound the same but I wanted one effect or another all on the one mixdown without any post-production, which is what this ended up being. I won't go into how many passes that took... In the end the KORG was used for some ...

In Dawn of Fantasy's second developer diary, Assistant Producer and Lead Writer Gordon Farrell is back to guide viewers through another game mode - this time with the help of Arielle Parkas, Assistant Voice-Over Director and Voice Actor for several elven characters. The captivating duo take players through Dawn of Fantasy's innovative 'Kingdom Wars' game mode. Kingdom Wars is an exclusively single-player Conquer-the-World style campaign mode with a mix of Skirmish and MMORTS gameplay elements to create a new, action-packed experience. This game mode takes the epic siege warfare, continuous army progression, army construction, and World Map from the massively multiplayer Online Kingdom mode and pairs it with an intelligent and aggressive AI, improved diplomacy features, and the ability to control conquered strongholds. At the same time, Kingdom Wars leaves out select 'Online Kingdom' mode elements including city construction, advanced economic micromanagement, and story-driven quests to promote fast-paced action at every turn. While introducing the Kingdom Wars mode, Gordon and Arielle detail key elements including World Map interaction, stronghold and economic management specific to KW, diplomacy, army camps, and epic stronghold sieges. The pair discusses some of their favorite features, with their competing biases thrown in for good measure. Viewers are in for a definite treat, as Gordon and Arielle take players to exotic locations never-before-seen in video, such as the dwarven mines where the player can stock up on gold reserves.

Every DJ get hungry after spinning a few tunes so what is the best way to alleviate your hunger.....? Make California rolls of course! In this near complete KPOP-filled mix, not only do you get to hear some cool tunes, you also get to chance to see how I make my sushi rolls. Disclaimer: I don't claim to be a master at making maki (the real chefs train for 8+ years) so hate me for butchering some parts. For those interested in the awesome t-shirt I'm wearing, it is from the debut collection of a Vancouver-based t-shirt company TWO AND TEE (http://www.twoandtee.com). They have very creative and unique designs so please check out their webstore to find out more about them! Since I have a tendency to do everything at once (as seen in this video) I'm also entering this video for video D***ontest at DJTechTools (http://www.djtechtools.com/2012/06/24/how-to-make-a-great-dj-video). Although I'm not sure if the DJ's there can handle this amount of KPOP I hope they appreciate the time and effort I put in designing this mix. It would mean the world to me if you guys could share this video with your friends. It will help for sure and perhaps I can even win!!! Songlist: 1. Sistar19 - Ma Boy (Instrumental) 2. Hip hop artist Dolo The Bandit brings the party to you in the video "Roach Clips" with strong rapping and good music. The artist steps up to the home plate and hits a home run with this track. It's notorious and has a strong sound done in a way that only east coast rappers can do it that should be a big winner with viewers and anyone who likes to get their groove on. "Roach Clips" is a well-spoken story that grips you with a mix that will make the whole club swoon together in party harmony. The breaks are right on time and the talent is more than obvious. The video shows every day people relaxing in their own particular ways (roach clips) and the story centers on the struggles of the artist as he strives to live his dream and have his desires, while he finds a way to relax and escape from the pressures of life and the pain of living in the cold hard city trying to make things happen when the odds are against you. Dolo The Bandit is a class act who gives a high dollar performance, and none who see this video or hear the track will be disappointed. Email: tv@musicdish.net Website: http://dolothebanditaf1.com

Right; this was just meant to be on facebook, but facebook are nobbers and wouldn't let me upload it because of the length, then I made a new video that was shorter but they wouldnt upload it because of the file size, then I went to youtube and after waiting for about two hours for it upload it was instantly removed for being 3 minutes too long. THANK YOU VEOH! Quick mix I did using a few KniteForce records, I'm a beginner dj and havent been mixing too long, also have only been mixing this kind of music for about two weeks so im still new to this style of mixing. average mix, nothing great just wanted to show people what i could do because I have never recorded a mix before. Since I used the laptop mic to record it none of the lower frequencies have been picked up... use headphones.
Try Fiona's adventurous recipe using fresh parsley and basil. Ingredients: For the pancakes: 4 ounces plain flour 1 large free range egg Quarter or half a pint of milk Pinch of salt 3 tablespoons of snipped chives Butter for frying Mushroom filling 1 small onion finely chopped 8 closed cap mushrooms finely sliced 1 clove garlic finely minced half packet dried porcini mushrooms 2 ounces butter 1 teaspoons flour Dash of white wine Dash of milk A pinch of sugar salt and pepper 1 large handful of parsley finely chopped Iced cream: 200ml double cream 1 large handful of basil chopped or torn salt and pepper Method: Mix the flour, egg, milk, chives and salt together to make a thin batter. Fry the pancakes in a little butter, drain on kitchen paper and set aside. Pop the porcini in a jug and top up with hot water. Fry the onions in a little butter, adding white wine to stop them burning. After around 8 minutes add the fresh mushrooms and garlic and sprinkle on a tiny bit of sugar which helps the mushrooms caramelise and adds depth of flavour. Sprinkle on the flour, stir and add the porcini liquor and chop the rehydrated porcini. Add these to the pan and mix in a little milk. Season and add the parsley, the filling is done. Whisk the cream until it is quite stiff, add the basil and seasoning and place in the freezer, you can make quenelle shapes before you freeze which is easier. The pancakes keep all day so can be made in advance and microwave to heat up as this keeps them nice and soft and the filling moist.

Chess is and will always be the classic strategy board game, but for people looking for something new and even more challenging there's Armis. The goal of Armis is to capture the opponents Flag using your President, Vice President, Army, Submarine, Aircraft Carrier and the like but what makes it more interesting than a typical Military type board game is that it has a mix of reality. You also have Religion, Media and even a Child piece. Another thing that makes this game more interesting and challenging is that you set up the pieces the way you want to set them up (except for the flag and the reserves) so your strategic planning starts before the game even begins. There are over a mi llion ways to set up your pieces so it won't boring or routine any time soon. Each of the pieces have their own movements. Some rely on other pieces to be able to move and also depend their lives on other pieces. The vice president for example takes over the Presidency in the event of an assassination; if you capture the opponents child you loose your diplomat and religion; activating your nuke also sacrifices your diplomat and religion and if there is no president the flag is immobilized. Armis really gives a new twist to strategy games and gives players a different challenge every time they play, time for the new war to begin!

“Buy And Sell” is the second track on Rick Shaffer’s solo album, Hidden Charms, released February 2011, by Tarock Music. Shaffer continues, expands, and nicely follows-up the feel of his first solo album, Necessary Illusion, released March of 2010. The concept is for Hidden Charms to have a sound both new and old simultaneously, allowing it to find it’s place in a radio mix from 1965, and beyond. The album’s vibe inspired British director, Peter McAdam, to recruit 2011 youth right off the street, and placing them on the set of a 1960’s dance hall he created at High Bridge Studios, Newcastle UK, and letting “Buy and Sell” play . . . loud. The result is a video that also combines new and old, continuing the Hidden Charms concept by having today’s youth easily blend into the 1960’s and not looking, or feeling, out of place.
The Four-Minute Southern Cook shows you how to make delicious, tender and juicy pan-fried port chops in just minutes with House-Autry Pork Breader. Your family will love this traditional Southern dish, and you’ll love the ease and convenience of preparing it. This video will show you how you can put a great meal on the table in just a few minutes! See more delicious recipes at www.house-autry.com. Servings: 4 Approx. Prep Time: 5-7 min. Approx. Cook Time: 5-8 min. Ingredients: 4-5 fresh bone-in pork chops 1 box House-Autry Pork Breader 1 medium bowl of water Corn oil for frying Directions: Heat oil in heavy cast iron skillet to 375°F. Make sure oil fills up no more than a quarter of your skillet. You want the oil to only cover about half of your pork chops, so if you’re using a 2-inch deep skillet, you’d need about 1/4 inch of oil in the bottom. To check temperature, sprinkle a little breader mix in hot oil. If it bubbles up golden brown, you’re ready to cook. Take some of the Pork Breader and pour it onto a large plate. Take each chop, dip it in the water, shake off excess, and roll it in the breader on the plate, covering each side thoroughly. You can also put the chops in a large re-sealable bag with the breader and shake to coat. Place coated chops in the heated oil carefully - leaving plenty of room around them for the oil to flow. Fry for 5-8 minutes until golden brown. Use wire racks and paper towels to drain excess oil. Meal Suggestions: Serve with mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh garden vegetables or favorite casserole for a great family meal.

Ingredients: 4 fresh catfish fillets 1 package House-Autry Fish Fry Water in bowl Oil for frying Directions: In a cast iron skillet or electric frying pan, preheat oil to 375°F. Test with thermometer or by sprinkling a little breader mix in oil - if it bubbles up golden brown, oil is ready. Dip catfish fillets in water, shake off excess, and either roll in Fish Fry mix on plate or shake in large re-sealable plastic bag to thoroughly coat fillets. When oil is proper temperature, gently place catfish fillets into the skillet, leaving room around each piece for oil to flow. Fry fish for 2-3 minutes and check for golden brown color. Drain on wire racks with paper towels. Meal Suggestions: Serve with fresh, hot corn on the cob, potato salad or coleslaw and House-Autry hushpuppies with tartar sauce on the side.

This is a mash-up I made of "Kid Cudi - Sky Might Fall" and "Nosaj Thing - Us". I think they flow really well together, I love it when two great artists can mix with synergy to make something that is even better than the original. Special thanks to both artists for making music that continues to inspire me.

--Thanks! :) :)
Enjoy one of our melodic trance remixes, as we take Edward Maya's wonderful 'This is my life' midrange and mix it up heavily with the vocal 'Where you Wanna Go' from Mischa Daniel and its dance-feel bassline. Diverging from the normal ordering, Edward Maya's twangy chords feature heavily, adding a modern feel to generate a classic club sound. Designed to be strong throughout, this is a mainline dance floor track with constant builds and a particularly sub-friendly bassline. Your bass system had better be in order to handle the loads of this remix!
The actual mixing takes us from "Where you Wanna go" featuring vocals and midrange from "this is my life", to actually switching to "this is my life" and further featuring vocal loops from where you wanna go , along with some nice insertion of the bass-cut peaks from the 'other' song as I alternate between the two to create the mash up.

This absolutely gorgeous sounding remix happened in only two attempts as the source track was expertly composed by Rene Amesz and Meck in the first place. Having turned it into a more industrial sounding, aggressive mix that just won't give up, this takes Madonna's classic vocal to new club-inspired heights! You'll notice build up/rebuild comes with a different vocal timing offset and as such sounds like one long ramp up with a glorious vocal peak.

Yeaaaaah, we totally didn't even realize that we had all this footage until we went to clear it off to mix-down another episode. We were so grateful to get some clues as to what happened that weekend. Another reason to lifestream: remember what you did when you were blacked out.
I keep saying it to everyone I tell, but I'm gonna say it again because I love itâ we just could not have planned it better ourselves. Staying up all night and then going to Mt. Bonnel to watch the sunrise? Bliss.
Then Jessica got a tattoo.
