People often ask me for my pancake recipe. Pancakes are also known as flapjacks, hotcakes, and griddle cakes. You can buy packaged mixes but they're expensive and unnecessary. Let me show you how easy and economical it is to make pancakes from scratch. All you need is: 1 ¼ cups, or 180 grams of sifted all-purpose flour. 1 tablespoon or 10 grams of baking powder 1 tablespoon, or 10 grams of sugar ½ teaspoon, or a good pinch of salt 1 beaten egg 1 cup, or 250 mL of milk 2 tablespoons or 30 mL of olive or sunflower oil and an ungreased crepe pan. Sift the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar into one bowl. Then mix the milk, oil, and beaten egg into another bowl. Pour the mixture over the flour. Stir using a wooden spoon until the dry flour disappears. The batter must be lumpy, so don’t over-mix it. This is the secret for fluffy and light pancakes. Pre-heat the crepe pan. The Four Minute Southern Cook shows you how to please a crowd quickly and easily with zesty fried chicken wings and drummettes made with House-Autry Medium Hot Breader. See more delicious recipes at www.house-autry.com. Approx. Prep Time: 10 min. Approx. Cook Time: 10 min. Ingredients: 5 pounds of chicken wings and/or drummettes 2 cups water 1 package of House-Autry Medium Hot Breader mix Oil for frying Directions: In a cast iron skillet or electric frying pan, preheat oil to 375°F. Test with thermometer or by sprinkling a little breader mix in oil - if it bubbles up golden brown, oil is ready. Measure out 2 tablespoons of Medium Hot Breader mix and set aside in small bowl. Moisten wings and/or drummettes in water and shake off excess. Coat chicken in breader mix until all pieces are coated. When oil is proper temperature, gently place wings/drummettes into the skillet, leaving room around each piece for oil to flow. Fry chicken for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on wire racks with paper towels. Meal Suggestions: Make your own Buffalo-style sauce for dipping. Serve with celery and carrot sticks, blue cheese or ranch dressing. Reheats easily - wrap in foil and heat in 350° F oven or on grill for 10-12 minutes.

In Volume #27: Painting Nocturnes: The Brooklyn Bridge, Hall teaches the beginning art student the techniques that are essential for creating dazzling nocturnal cityscapes. Prior to painting the main Brooklyn Bridge piece, he discusses five of his larger nocturnes and then teaches several foundation color theory concepts. Hall then moves on to the main demonstration painting, where he teaches one how to establish the foundation architectural and landscape forms, mix warm and cool colors, and then illustrates in great detail how the vast array of colored city lights are actually made to appear luminous within the darkness. Within each phase of the demonstration, the student is able to view enlarged sections of the same reference painting that Hall is looking at while he paints--all within the same screen!

This is a mash-up I made of "Kid Cudi - Sky Might Fall" and "Nosaj Thing - Us". I think they flow really well together, I love it when two great artists can mix with synergy to make something that is even better than the original.
