RATBY BAND JOIN THE AMBASSADOR'S Geoff Newman took hold of the baton for the latest Ambassador's Band tour arranged by Phil Plant and Stan Hearne. A week in the Spanish sun, in a cracking hotel, eating superb food, lounging by the two hotel swimming pools, in great company..what more could you ask for? The locals seemed to enjoy the playing, both in the hotel and in the church square in Calella, as they thoughtfully provided benches to enable many to sit in the sun and to be entertained for a while, not a glum face anywhere. The players this year were made up of Ratby Co-operative Band players from Senior, Mid & Youth Sections, Leicestershire Co-op, Cubbington Silver, Burbage Elland Silver and Unity Brass Bands - and the mix must have been a good one, because many of' us have already booked to go back next May.

this is a dj mix I did back in '02. I used a studio mates drum 'n' bass records to make this mix. I wanted to try and create a slower sounding mix that had the depth and intensity of jungle. I had to quickly find, listen to, and mix what seemed to work. Bare in mind I had never heard these tracks until I mixed them.

Both the Red Line train and I-94 run right past the neighborhood, providing a straight shot to the city's center. But within Chatham's boundaries you'll discover long-established bars, a mix of cuisine at local restaurants and a number of independently-owned shops and national retail chains.

This is Pop'n Music 15 Adventure, a music game similar to Beatmania where the objective is to keep a certain percentage of quality in skill. While the peak of the difficulty is easier than Beatmania, it's learning curve is steeper than it with nine large buttons over seven keys and a scratch record. My series of videos include layer flicker as they are directly ripped from an arcade copy through a overqualified recorder, rather than a recording of the computer screen itself. This is the Propose remix. The character is MZD, a DJ deity so to speak. As this is his modern version, his spirit appears while the previous owner is shown on the screen. The player character is Yoshio, some may see him in SA-DA-ME's Guitar Freaks video as the ninja just trying to train to his fullest in the modern world.

This funky old science film explores the process of alcohol moving through the human body. Using animation, and that vintage dry scientist narrator that old educational videos are famous for, the film not only demonstrates alcohols path through the anatomy of a human, but much more. The effects of alcohol and substance abuse are explores in detail. Alcoholism symptoms, as well as alcohol liver damage symptoms, get thoroughly discussed. The 1940's human anatomy drawings are a fun way to learn about substance abuse disorder. Also touched upon are the methods of alcohol manufacturing, including how to make whiskey and other yeast and alcohol fermentation processes. Overall, the film is a fine mix of medicine, booze, and vintage science.
