Daimler CEO Dr. Dieter Zetsche joined Ernst Lieb President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA in New York Tuesday June 21, for the opening of Mercedes-Benz Manhattan and hundreds of distinguished New Yorkers, VIP guests and Celebrities made their presence at the Gala opening to celebrate the 7.6 acre, 5 floor, colorful and bright, transparent design, that combines elegance with customer satisfaction; making it a new style standard. On display was one of the most expensive Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the world that can't be purchased at the dealership, but rather through RM Auctions during this year's Pebble Beach Motoring Week in August. When guests weren't buzzing about celebrities in attendance or Matchbox 20 playing a private concert or food inspired by Executive Chef Gabriel Kreuther of the Modern, it was definitely the 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Spezial Roadster -- part of the esteemed private collection of Sam and Emily Mann that drew attention throughout the evening. A star consignment for RM's annual Monterey sale, August 19 -- 20, the exquisite, multi-million dollar 1937 540K Special Roadster is expected to set a new auction record for a Mercedes-Benz, as well as enter the history books as one of the most expensive motor cars ever sold at auction when it goes under the gavel this summer."

Nikki Hong is a pop / rock singer / songwriter from Los Angeles, CA. Nikki was born in South Korea but has lived all over the U.S. before settling in L.A. to attend the University of Southern California. Although the 23 year-old was heavily influenced by music throughout her life, her ambition to become a musician was kept very much a secret. Knowing she would gain little support from friends and family, she often wrote songs late at night or in her privacy. In college, after a reluctant performance in front of a songwriting class, she discovered the excitement of sharing her music. Nikki's first instrument was the piano, which she studied for six years before she picked up the violin. She then went on to teach herself to play the guitar after watching a Guns N Roses music video in the early 90's. Frustrated over having to relocate every so often, she started writing songs when she was 12. Her music became a personal emotional vent and dealt with everything from relationship issues to the struggles of everyday life. This is a super trick for breaking the ice at a party. Easy to learn. All you need is a matchbox. Have fun learning this to your Friends. Just lift the matchbox with only two fingers keeping the middle finger on the table.

This turned out to actually be a pretty cool trick. This guy rubs his fingers together with the residue from a matchbox and it really does appear to be creating smoke.
