THE LAZARUS PLAN are a new Minneapolis band. Yet another quiet little lo-fi demo that didn't make the album. This was really early on in the songwriting process. But I thought it had a pretty melancholy quality, so I decided to keep it around. Now I give it to you. Namaste, DJ ARKITEKT

A fantastic chipmusic concert featuring Jake Kaufman (aka Virt), WizWars, EvilWezil, and Flying Fortress (IllGill, Nameless, and WMX), and also including a brief demo of Nintendo DSi music system "Rhythm Core Alpha" by Timon from SoftEgg.
If you like game music, chiptunes, synth music, or just really good music, be sure and check this out!
Notes: This is the complete video of the show. Because it is so long, the quality is reduced (Vimeo upload limits.) Later, we will split the show up into individual segments in higher quality.
Due to technical difficulties, part of WizWars set had to use the crappy camera sound. We apologize for that.
This show was produced by The AppleMonkey Productions ( http://gamemusic4all.com ).
Video production was supplied by SoftEgg, makers of music creation system Rhythm Core Alpha for Nintendo DSi ( http://www.rhythmcorealpha.com ) available now in the Nintendo DSiWare (download) shop! Please check out the demo videos here and on the Rhythm Core Alpha website.

Tis is a song I recorded and Mixed at Blue Wave Studios in Vancouver BC. The purpose of this session was to attempt to get a Lo-Fi sound with High end gear. The Mix was run to tape in order to emulate a "pleasant" saturation. Tape delay was also used as an effect because I love Tape delays.

Rob Irwin talks about McDonalds and the way its service has ground to a halt since it adopted the "make it fresh" concept. Ordering a common burger or two from drive-thru and then being told to go and sit in a waiting bay for 5-10 minutes is hopeless.
Rob Irwin takes a look at the auction of Battlestar Galactica props and costumes currently happening on eBay, and is mightily surprised with some of the prices being realised for the items. Take a look!
Lo Fi Life #6: Rob Irwin talks about the 501st Legion and, more specifically, the popular hobby of patch collecting within the legion. What's it all about? What do the patches represent? How do you get them?
