Passing Strange, which is currently nominated for 7 Tony Awards, recently celebrated its 100th performance at the Belasco Theatre. The show, which is nominated for Best Musical, has also been a celebrity hot spot as of late. Samuel L Jackson, Terrence McNally, Angela Davis (aunt of Passing Strange actress Eisa Davis), Toni Morrison, Rosie O'Donnell, Lauren Bacall and Harry Belafonte have all been spotted at the show.
Passing Strange was developed in part by the Sundance Institute. Coincidently, Sundance will be bringing their film festival to Brooklyn for the third year in a row...
