Kirk Kenney is an eclectic bilingual musician, who has performed, collaborated, and coordinated tours in over 30 cities in China, at venues small and large, from DDC to the Shanghai Concert Hall to the National Centre for the Performing Arts. Kirk performs solo and collaborates with local and international musicians. He has been awarded grants from the US Department of State and the Ford Foundation, and continues to look for new ways to bring people from around the world together through music and the arts. Kenney’s music draws on influences from traditional musics of the Americas, Africa, Central and East Asia, and especially the heartfelt, humorous and honest storytelling of Floridian musician, Gamble Rogers. A self-taught guitarist, Kenney studied horse-head fiddle with Hugjiltu (Ajinai Band), getting more involved in Beijing’s underground music scene. He picked up traditional American fiddle after studying and playing with Michael Ismerio, and honed his stage experience playing with bands like the Beijing Alchemists, The Randy Abel Stable, the Ring Road Ramblers, the Hutong Yellow Weasels/the Mountain High, Emerald Rae and Sourpuss. He was invited to perform at master pipa player Dong Nan’s camp in Qingdao. Not only a singer and multi-instrumentalist, he has also gone behind the scenes to coordinate tours for the bands Manhu, Jenny and the Hog Drovers, Erynn Marshall and Carl Jones, and Cynthia Sayer and Her Joyride Band. When he’s not memorizing lyrics on a train, doing yoga, or learning how to brew a good espresso, he likes to walk around Shanghai’s ex-French Concession, admiring old buildings and trees.

"What Happened Was... is a 1994 independent film written, directed by and starring Tom Noonan. It is an adaptation of Noonan's original play of the same name." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/What_Happened_Was _____ "This darkly humorous film explores the personal psychic landscape of two lonely New Yorkers. Jackie and Michael are coworkers at a large law firm, who decide to meet at Jackie's for dinner one night. As this 'first date' plays out, the audience is guided through a mental minefield of disappointment, desolation, and desperation. Their conversation, with its awkward 'small talk', slowly reveals their unhappy lives." http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111689/

Rock group Death By Chocolate's new video "Tell Me What You See" is very visually interesting and stimulating. With time lapse slow motion, a beautiful woman, and violence with a S&M twist, this video captivates. A very upbeat rock track with hard pounding sound accompanies the video quite nicely. Death By Chocolate's "Tell Me What You See" is well performed and produced. The lead vocalist's voice and style is more than ample as he delivers on this jamming song. With the band rocking hard, this cut is a winner. They add a little Indian melody and all kinds of hard core treats. The video is humorous and entertaining (and steaming hot) while the music is hard core and shows just how rock is supposed to be done. Email: tv@musicdish.net Website: http://www.deathbychocolate.ch
"Hello", a new animated video from the award winning DJ JP, explodes onto the screen with a massive bass and Electro pop track. The low voice speaks in English, and it's very humorous and entertaining with very simply drawn characters moving around on a black background. The bass has an elastic sound, and a moving line that sounds like a jazz walking bass. A little man in a hat is searching everywhere as he walks past the country side flowers, and through the rain storm to find someone he's trying to talk to, but can't hear. The music becomes more intense as the kick drum and high note keyboards keep climbing higher in tension, and the poor little man just keeps trekking through the city traffic. Ahhh, finally the payoff comes as night falls, and our hero is joined by many friends that came to dance, and party! "Thanks for coming!". This will be perfect when fans come to hear JP spin at one of his shows! Smartly placed social buttons are on the end of the video for social media sites, offering fans numerous ways to connect with DJ JP. Email: tv@musicdish.net Website: http://www.jplantieri.com

This animated film graphically portrays the basic ideas of the philosophy of Existence for life, the author of which is Josef Zezulka, a Czech philosopher and biotronic healer. It may be a suitable brief introduction to this philosophy, for a better understanding of the thoughts presented. The film attempts to show that regardless of the serious nature of the topic, philosophy can be playful, colourful and humorous. A smile can take you a long way. (www.dub.cz)

Wearing horns in a balloon factory can be dangerous. Wearing horns in school might be an infringement of the dress code. Gnursk and Biff are practitioners of the ancient Bastroonk faith. Wearing the sacred horns of Trooski on Holy Days is a duty. The ancestors sacrificed their lives for these horns. But the outer trappings of religious practice can sometimes be mistaken for a provocation in today's diversified societies. When Gnursk and Biff take their grievances to court, the finer points of religious tolerance are debated. The voice of reason proposes a compromise amidst the sometimes conflicting rights and freedoms we enjoy in Canada. John Weldon puts a humorous spin on a serious legal issue. His madcap characters capture the essence of bigotry in bold, wacky scenes. Seasoning the film are those ingredients that help make our world function - respect, resourcefulness, adaptability.

During the recent PubCon South at Austin 2011 conference held in Austin Texas, PubCon video content producer Vanessa Zamora sat down for a video interview with conference speaker Alan K'necht, founding partner at Digital Always Media. K'necht discussed his recently released book, "The last original Idea: A Cynic's View of Internet Marketing," which takes a humorous look at the evolution of Internet marketing, taking the reader back to the earliest historical references of marketing and then pointing out the mistakes made along the way to educate the reader and pave the way for successful marketing efforts. According to K'necht, Internet marketing comes from traditional marketing which comes from simply getting your message across. The tools are new, the concepts are not, a common misconception by new entrants to the Internet marketing field, added K'necht. Currently our industry is redefining what a conversion is, and figuring out how to better attribute value to actions leading to a sale or conversion, ...
