Die Sonne brannte auf die Weizenfelder, die wie ein goldenes Meer bis zum Horizont wogten. Es war Erntezeit, und die Luft vibrierte nicht nur vor Hitze, sondern vor dem Dröhnen der Mähdrescher – der "Trokkoren", wie die Fahrer ihre stählernen Kolosse nannten.
Leo, einer der Abfahrer, presste das Gaspedal seines modifizierten Pick-ups durch den ausgefahrenen Feldweg. Staub wirbelte hinter ihm auf. Sein Job war es, neben dem riesigen, erntenden Mähdrescher herzufahren, sobald dessen Korntank voll war. Dann öffnete sich eine Luke, ein riesiger Schlauch senkte sich herab, und innerhalb von Sekunden wurde die kostbare Fracht in Leos Anhänger gesaugt. Ein gefährliches Ballett aus Geschwindigkeit und Präzision.
Heute war alles anders. Der letzte Mähdrescher des Tages war fast voll, aber die Förderpumpe hatte einen Defekt. Die Lösung? "Leersaugen im Pendeltakt!", rief der Vorarbeiter über Funk. Leo grinste. Das hieß: Volle Fahrt voraus, dann eine scharfe Kehre, um den Schlauchansatz wieder einzufangen, wenn der Mähdrescher langsam weiterfuhr. Ein hin und her, ein Tanz auf Leben und Tod.
Der Funk knackte. "Jetzt, Leo!" Er trat auf die Tube, der Pick-up sprang nach vorn, parallel zum Riesen. Der Schlauch sauste herab, traf den Anhänger, und das goldene Gut strömte ein. Dann das Signal: "Wende!" Leo riss das Steuer herum, der Wagen drehte sich auf den Stoppelfeldern, Staubwolken verhüllten die Sonne. Er jagte zurück, fand die Position wieder, fing den Schlauch erneut ein. Ein Adrenalinstoß, reiner als der Weizen.
Als der Tank leer war, stieg Leo aus. Sein Herz schlug ihm noch immer im Hals. Er blickte über das Feld, auf die Spuren seines Tanzes im Staub. Es war kein Job. Es war ein Duell mit dem Sommer, ein Ritt auf der Schneide der Ernte. Und morgen würde der Tanz von neuem beginnen.

Dyami is an American musician*songwriter*producer from Atlanta, Georgia. The smoothness of Dyami's sound is predominately due to this southern roots in audition to musical inspirations from soul, modern and traditional jazz, rnb, hip hop and oriental music.
On this live session, Dyami invited two talented musicians, Joel Disu on the keyboard, and Francis on the bass guitar. Both are professional artists, playing many funk and jazz live gigs in Shanghai. The current single "Original, due to be on the upcoming album, Melancholy finds Dyami collaborating with these two great musicians from Ghana, keyboardist Joel and bass guitarist Qwasi Slymer Francis.
